I hope you eat your words.
Me too, but too many poor players out there for me to have any confidence. Shaw is reminding me why our resurgence coincided with his leaving the team; Falcao is a liability; Rooney isn't a defensive midfielder...etcMata is playing poorly, though, which can always change. If he starts firing, we could come back.

Not sure I'm seeing the same Shaw as you.
And Rooney is not playing as a defensive midfielder.
He is playing as one of two centre midfielders, both of whom are having to do attacking and defending. He's not a good defender, and neither is Herrera. And Rooney is not playing as a defensive midfielder.
Shaw has been average, and he's likely to revert to his usual form (dog st). Valencia (a winger) is doing a better job than him, as always.
Still, Chelsea look decidedly average and will be content to sit back, so if Mata and Rooney can start playing well going forward, we should score. Fellaini looks good, as always, so there is still hope.

So with the injuries what's the alternative in midfield?Shaw has been average, and he's likely to revert to his usual form (dog st). Valencia (a winger) is doing a better job than him, as always.

Let's agree to disagree on Shaw. He's a kid learning his trade not dogst.

Shaw is both, isn't he? He may well improve and become a good player, but he has been undoubtedly poor for Utd. Dog st is a bit harsh, I accept.

We are at the other end. Everyone in the United end thought it had gone in so we started celebrating .. ... And the rent boys jumped on it.
He hit it to curl it back in, but set it off too wide. It hit the post behind the goal and then fired back across the back of the goal. I thought it was in too. Lazy effort in the context of the game.
