What was Fergie's record after 9 games?
W3, L3, D3
What has Fergie's record got to do with anything? Did he start off with any of the same players that Moyes, LVG and now Jose have had?

It's fair to say that no managers results compare to any others as they are fundamentally different players and philosophies. It's obviously important for the doom-mongerers and photoshoppers amongst us to highlight how poorly managers are performing.

ifs and buts ultimately,if the refs got big decisions right we would have beaten city ,we would have had an hour to go at a ten men chelsea, wouldnt have had to chase game against watford, wouldnt have lost at feyernoord ,in fact we would be unbeaten.Very fine margins between success and failure.
Is this a joke?

fergy left a decaying team, moyes made it worse then lvg bought in a load of players not good enough for United.there is a lot of work needed, and it took fergy quite a few years to sort out a decent team. The first few years were as painful to watch as united under lvg.

It's all pretty irrelevant in my view. Judge the guy after a couple of seasons.

The doom-mongerers are always around after success, it is not lost that United when performing badly still get the back pages - regardless who beats them. Next 6 games though we need to get a rhythm going...

Burnley (h)
Swansea (a) can go as far as saying bogie team of late? 2 wins in 6
Arsenal (h)
West Ham (h) Payback due for last years' Upton Park mess
Everton (a)
Tottenham (h)

You cannot compare the last 3 managers because it's certainly not a level playing field because Moyes was given very little money in comparison with LVG and Mourinio!

Not true according to Moyes. He said that he wanted to evaluate his existing squad before going into the market.
Once summer was over he had to wait.

Well that's a rather disturbing picture. Reminds me a lot of Terminator poster I had on my bedroom wall as a kid of Arnie with half his face melted off.

He had been given a 6 year contract so didn't want to rush in and maybe waist £2-300 million like the next 2 have! wink

Looks like Mourihno is having trouble with Manchester residents' parochialism.

That's what happens when you move away from a proper city. Still, his family are staying put here in London. Who can blame them?

It is ridiculous when fans reel off a list of missed opportunities that would have won them every game whilst ignoring all their lucky escapes smile

I didn't realise he hasn't moved his family. Not a good position to be in with all the pressure.

His daughter's 20 and at a London university. His son's 17. On the cusp of uni. No parent in their right mind would move a child during such a crucial time in their education.

Still, your boss says he has food delivery apps on his phone. So, he's gonna hanker down in his hotel suite, avoid the uncouth locals and eat Chinese takeaways. While plotting league domination.

Sans Rooney.
