Cant United just buy a nice house to let the 'current manager' doss down in while he's in charge?

Not many United managers are going to want to put down permanent roots there are they?

When he was in Spain and Italy did his wife move with him then from London? If not, it obviously didn't worry him pissing off to Europe when his kids were growing up ... Manchester is hardly as far as Madrid is from London.

Pretty sure she did, his kids simply moved schools then. His son has now signed a contract at Fulham, he's a goalkeeper so obviously needs to be based in/near London. Different times.

Has this come out in an interview with direct quotes or is it one of those "sources close to" type stories?

Looks like Mourihno is having trouble with Manchester residents' parochialism.

That's what happens when you move away from a proper city. Still, his family are staying put here in London. Who can blame them?

Fulham train at Motspur Park only a mile away from me,

They have an impressive set up there along a very nice surburban avenue,

Joking aside , surely your kids come first in any circumstance .

I did like the Giggsy post though if a little childish .

Can't for the life of me work out why he is still in the hotel. It really is a simple thing to sort.

m3sye,

I'm sure he could do a job there but no, not for me. He needs to establish himself as the best central midfielder in the world in the next 2-3 years. he's got the talent to get him there in my opinon. smile

It's not exactly slumming it though https://www.thelowryhotel.com/rooms-and-suites/riv...

Until you have family around, why bother with a massive house in Hale.

Mainly because there are fkign massive glass doors and loads of people hanging around to take a selfie.

Move to Alderley Edge, get some privacy 2 trains an hour to London within 15 mins or 15 mins to the private aircraft terminal at Manchester.

Was that designed by the architect of the Arndale centre or the set designer of Space 1999?

I really like the one on Styal Rd that was done up recently, the Whitefield one is nice too. It was the external tiles on the Best property that reminded me of the old Arndale before the IRA improvement program. I do wonder how the flat roofs get on with Manchester weather though.
