I hope you're right lazy. I'd be sad to see Di Maria leave but can't help he's being a bit of a pussy for not trying to prove himself.
If the player wants out it's best to let them go, it's a big shame IMO though.
Hopefully we bring in someone of a similar calibre to replace him.
Indeed, he can toddle off to Paris if he wants. I wonder if anyone has told him what the tax rates are ?! If the player wants out it's best to let them go, it's a big shame IMO though.

Did any of us think otherwise? We know we get linked with everyone and always have. Sometimes they join, sometimes they don't. I like the way we're doing business this year. No leaks, no comments, no unsettling players. Any links to us are agents stirring it up, or media speculation with zero confirmation.
Ronaldo speculation cracks me up.
VG simply conformed, when asked, that we would of course welcome him with open arms. No st!
Why on Earth would he want to come back to Man U now? Madrid vs Manchester? Hmmm. One does seem a bit more attractive to a millionaire playboy from Portugal!
He may come back for a year when his legs have gone, for old times' sake.

Keep dreaming of a big reveal on Aug 1st. Ronnie comes back in a big Adidas / United funded deal. I know I'm pissed right now but I keep seeing it happen in my dreams.
God
?
Whilst not buying into the Ronnie thing (not getting sucked in this year) I do think with 4 days to go any new major signings will be unveiled in Adidas gear.God
?

Word on the street is that he's missing the chubby slags around Deansgate Locks. He's coming home.
Beat me too it,I was going to say he's coming back because the women wear less, regardless of the weather. But he's not ,nor will Bayer. Sell muller
Pedro seems a good possibility,United are very interested apparently ,but watching the pre season stuff ,by Christ we need a centre half.

I agree - it's a little surprising that we haven't got someone in CB wise yet, but who knows. This time next week we could have two. I wonder though, with the Darmian signing, if LVG doesn't think he has sufficient cover now across the back. He's talked a lot about creativity and speed, strikers and such but not much at all (unless I missed it) about defensive stability. I think Smalling and Jones would both benefit from playing with a truly world class centre half (although who that would be I don't know). bstb3 said:

I agree.I have wondered for a couple of years why we don't get a new defensive coach. Jones and Smalling each had, apparently, enormous potential but are still headless idiots on the pitch. I don't think you can always blame the players - it looks like nobody is teaching them how to defend!
