Bcm, I feel like a live demonstration on the Liverpool thread is required.

Maybe a couple just to be sure.

So do we actually know what Di Maria has done? LVG says he doesn't know where he is, but what's to say he wasn't told to stay behind by whoever does the transfer business?
No, but the manager has said he doesn't know where one of the players is.

He also said Di Maria would join up with the squad in the USA on July 25th, he didn't.

I think it's fair to say he's sulking his way out of United.

Now DDG is being called a 'whinging rat'; this is desperation talking
Why?
Because no-one apart from the media is suggesting the move for DDG could happen. Now he has been described as a 'whinging rat'. Way to show gratitude to a guy who has earnt points for the club 'single-handedly'.

On the point of the ADM move, it is only LVG who has stated he doesn't know where he is. Have the club issued a statement?

The only desperation on this thread is your desperate attempts to troll

You're a Spud aren't you? I'm sure you were wishing Betbatov well when he said he wanted to leave. After all he won you loads of points with his goals

No desperation here sunshine. 'Trolling'; the accusation of someone who has nothing else to say.

Do you think it is fair to say that even if DDG wants to go, not a bad word should ever be said of him? Or do you agree with the 'whinging rat' description?

ADM and Falcao were desperation signings last season, they won't be missed this season. Falcao has clearly lost a yard of pace and will never be the player he was before his injury. ADM is vastly overrated.
Is he? he was brilliant when he came into the team for the 1st 10/12 games??

No doubt UTD will go big they have the money and the name just who is left and available?
He looked good in a poor side. He doesn't have the force of character/desire/drive/personality to dominate games. That's the key element that has been lacking from United of late. The one thing you could be certain of from Fergie signings (until the last couple of seasons anyway) was their will to win and ability to impose themselves on games. Pig Farmer is a much betting signing in this respect (if he actually plays enough games).

Yet you still are.

My questions above still stand; maybe not to you, as you have a major lip on about something but I'd be interested to see how DDG's on/off move will be accepted by the masses.

It's plainly obvious that Dave is going to Madrid and wants to. He didn't sign the contract(s) offered to him, so we're now in the position of losing him for a low fee or for free next summer. If he didn't want to sign the new contract, fair enough, but he signed the first one with a year still to go. If he wants to be awkward about the transfer then I doubt fans are going to take too kindly to that.

The fans love him, but the way this transfer is coming about is going to frustrate a lot of fans as well.

He's been shown plenty of gratitude anyway, that's a silly comment. Remember his first season? All of his howlers? The fans have never stopped singing his name.

Do you think LvG is lying then? Or the PSG manager saying the transfer is almost complete, it's just a coincidence?

I don't think LVG is lying, no. But I do question how much he is willing to divulge about what he does know; the fact that ADM is 'missing' but the club are in advanced talks with PSG. Surely they might have let him know. As for Blanc saying the deal is nearly complete, he can say what he wants. 'Nearly complete' is such a wishy washy comment.

Regarding the gratitude comment, I have seen the 'whinging rat' comment on here so there is already a stirring of dissent in the ranks. Personally, I'd keep him for the next season, reap the benefits of having him in between the sticks, and hope that the recent GK purchase shows the same kind of potential that he did in time for him to leave.

No. I'm not. I just chose to deal with the more relevant subjects.

The two world class players Man U signed last summer under LVG's directions have either left or it seems are in the throws of leaving and Man U's other World Class player DDG wants out. The latter is perhaps nothing to do with LVG as it's hard when you have a Madrid native being tapped up by RM. That said surely LVG's lack of success with these players is a concern ?

I assume you are talking about Falcao and AdM?

Falcao - Unknown quantity, he may return to form at Chelsea or he may be just as good as he was at Utd

AdM - PSG wanted him last summer but couldn't get him due to FFP, I guess his want for them was stronger than we had imagined, the majority of commentary I have seen about it from Non Utd fans suggests its a non footballing move, he'll piss over most of Ligue 1, hardly a challenge.

I dont really have any concerns about LvG apparent lack of success, I have seen some people saying this is his fault, but players who have played under him before are lining up to join him at Utd

Not really a concern. Falcao and Di Maria were expensive flops a few weeks ago, now everyone's calling them world class FFS.

Personally i don't think ADM had the minerals for a full premier league campaign, Falcao i think has that bit more about him, i guess we will all have to wait & see how he gets on in London this season.

To be fair it's a much better place to live, so I think Falcao will have no excuses if he doesn't show up this season.
