As soon as we try to play football, we're dominating them.

We've pretty much dominated the game but have created very little. Sounds oh so familiar.

Thank fk for Martial.

The kid is utter class. He has to be played up front. It's a waste putting him out wide.

Not so sure I agree. We may have had a lot of the ball, but that's not dominating. For the 10 mins prior to the goal, we had a go at them and created 3 or 4 good chances. Lazy finishing stopped us scoring then.

2nd place in the group now. Just need to win the home games now.

Must say I'm a bit disappointed after our great performance at Everton. Now onto the Manchester derby...

Come on guys, you all st a gasket when Moyes said we were favourites coming to old Trafford. What's the difference for today now VG has said it about city?

Nothing. I'm fking fuming at the comment. However, Moyes followed up that comment with the most lacklustre, defensive drivel tactics that we all drew a line under him then. None of us are particularly ecstatic about Van Gaal's style. A walloping for us today will not see him getting off lightly.

I fully expect us to get beaten by 2 or 3

Very true, daft needless comment but I think you will do OK today.

We are going to get a beating today. I did not like us getting LVG as manager, I hate the style of play we have adopted, we need to let players show what they can do not this rubbish keep possession for ten minutes then give the ball to the others to score with after 30 seconds.
I would rather see us go down fighting than this mincing about football, fans pay to be entertained, if I wanted to sleep through a game I would watch test cricket.

We need Ancceloti. We've got the players we just need an attacking minded coach.

Well put.
It depends, wrongly, on which United show up.
LVG is not the long term answer for us. He is a stop gap. Lord knows how we replace SAF with anybody half as capable. Sadly, maybe not at all.
My money is on a 1-3 defeat. City are to incisive for this United.
If Wazza scores, the beers are on me!

I don't see you guys getting a beating today, especially without Agureo and Silva playing.
Are you really scared of the likes of Bony? The good news for us is that Rooneys playing, despite his recent comparative poor form. He'll probably get a hat trick though frown

Aside from Rooney, (and perhaps Jones & Smalling) it feels like we've got a team full of newbies. City aren't much better.
Strange how much it's changed.

Dunno, good strong end-to-end match. Ref's behaving himself too.

stty on top. We look poor up front again. Only Martial looks a threat.

Yes, Rooney's giving them no peace but his touch isn't great is it. Also, can we hold out long enough with 10 men before Mata finally plays his one amazing pass of the game?
