Stoke.

Derby.

That's all you need to know about why Utd have won two games in a row. We played against two bad teams, and they made us look good.

Stoke make everyone look good at the moment.

Today will be the first opportunity to judge whether or not there has been any improvement. Anything but a win again this poor Chelsea side would confirm that we are still crap!

Level of performance is directly proportional to the woolliness of hair up to now. Willian, Fellaini and CBJ have done well and Rooney's still only slightly better than bald.

Not a bad performance so far. Matic and Willian looking the most likely for them. jB is having a hard time of it. Martial and Jesse need to do more on the wings.

Just turned and basted the roast-potatoes. They're looking lovely and starting to crisp up nicely.
Is that match over yet? Yawn...

Lingard scored,

I'd say better stick with Louis than "the Obnoxious bus driver One"...

Inferior to barca I said,or do you think they are better ?

So what did inter achieve prior to and after Jose ? How did Porto do in the champs league after Jose .
If your suggestions were true those teams would have done better than they have since he left.
Has nothing to do with Mourinho, Inter divested after him, sold all of their high profile players. Moratti, the Inter owner, owns an oil company that was heavily involved in Libya, due to the conflict his income dried out. He even wanted to sell Inter. (I believe Inter was even partly owned at one time by Khadaffi, his son or neveu even played a couple of matches for Inter). And by the way Berlusconi did the same at Ac and togheter with Juventus's punishment it meant Italian football did a step back, hence their drop to No.4 on the UEFA club ranking.

Porto is an entire diff. situation since CL football in 2004 was in a very diff. state as it is now. For example PSV, Manu's opponent reached the semi's in 2005 (even 1 minute away from the final). Back then CL was far less predictable.

In part thanks to UEFA/Platini, in part due to the massive TV rights in England, Spain, Germany and Italy and in part thanks to the Abrhamovice's of this world it's virtually impossible for clubs of the smaller country's to make it to a CL semi-final let alone winning it. Only a handfull can win it.

And for that very reason ManU currently struggles, even with all their money and playing in the PL, to compete with the top 3 to 4 clubs in Europe you need the best players.

Decent game, but we shouldn't have sat back so much on 1-0. Credit some of that to Chelsea though, final ball aside it's hard to see why they are so low in the table. DDG saved us a point, really.

Our own fault tbh. After going 1 up we stopped playing and trying to get another.

I think if we had won that, champions league was a possibility as we had picked up form and especially with next week fixtures. Be really difficult now.

Stoke was a one off.
LVG cannot motivate the team and must go.
A Jose team would have closed out the game.
Individual errors arise from players who are scared and uncertain. That's LVG's hallmark.

Certainly happier we ended up with Firminio ahead of him that's for sure...
He strolls around like he has been world player of the year 5x

That's that for CL football for next year. Spurs or Leicester are so far ahead that there's no chance of them imploding sufficiently for us to catch them, even if we put a run of wins together. In all honesty the chances of a run are pretty slim as well.
