Ouch, another subtle dig, about no United fans in Manchester smile

I don't know of anyone who does, inside or outside Manchester.

None of the fans I know use ManU.

Same here... lived in Manchester all of my life, never heard Man U from a United fan either.

Just a few Stockport fans using 'Manyoo' whatever that means.

This was secondary school in Sale. Plenty of Utd fans, a few City fans and I was one of two LFC fans. hehe Maybe they were too young to know better than to refer to their team as ManU.

Yes. I saw. Different people have different experiences shocker.

I really don't see what is derogatory about ManU anyway?

Nothing derogatory, much like many other nicknames for other clubs, but it is a name never used by fans and often used by ABUs. One of those things I guess.

United to me was always West Ham united when i was younger,

Lots of united's , far too common

Only one Hotspur though, unique & special i'd say

There's only one United in the Europa league, that i do know & probably will be the only one in it next year too unless the London United get there too.

Always thought it an exceedingly odd word for the name of anything (let alone a football club!)

But it appears to have some history....: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Percy_(Hotspur...

A lot of my old work mates who were Leeds supporters said the same and they weren't talking about a team who wear red at home laugh

I usually call Hotspur, tttenham. A club that lives way above it's standing thanks to PL TV right money, just like pretty much the rest of the PL by the way wink

So I'd say ManU (or Man.United) for United isn't too bad wink

Player prices this summer will be entertaining. Its going to take £40M just to get a squad player to sit on the bench pretty soon rolleyes

If Jose comes the "Man United" tax/premium on players we look at will be a sight to see as well
Totally agree.

No idea what our record spend is in one transfer window, but I have a feeling we'll be blowing that out of the water in the next one.

Kharzi was a suggested pick on quite a few FF articles this week.

Unknown from the French league I thought? Nah.

Sunderland I thought? Nah.

Playing United I thought? Nah.

What do I know.
