Huh? When I lived in Manchester I came across plenty of fans that called the club ManU.
Ouch, another subtle dig, about no United fans in Manchester I don't know of anyone who does, inside or outside Manchester.

Yes. I saw. Different people have different experiences shocker.
I really don't see what is derogatory about ManU anyway?
Nothing derogatory, much like many other nicknames for other clubs, but it is a name never used by fans and often used by ABUs. One of those things I guess. I really don't see what is derogatory about ManU anyway?

Only one Hotspur though, unique & special i'd say
Always thought it an exceedingly odd word for the name of anything (let alone a football club!)But it appears to have some history....: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Percy_(Hotspur...

United to me was always West Ham united when i was younger,
Lots of united's , far too common
Only one Hotspur though, unique & special i'd say
There's only one United. Lots of united's , far too common
Only one Hotspur though, unique & special i'd say
So I'd say ManU (or Man.United) for United isn't too bad

Player prices this summer will be entertaining. Its going to take £40M just to get a squad player to sit on the bench pretty soon
If Jose comes the "Man United" tax/premium on players we look at will be a sight to see as well
Totally agree. If Jose comes the "Man United" tax/premium on players we look at will be a sight to see as well
No idea what our record spend is in one transfer window, but I have a feeling we'll be blowing that out of the water in the next one.
