I've already said I'm quite happy to lose the game if it sends Newcastle down

How about a stunning performance, then losing by one in a nine goal thriller?
yes

Brucie is and always will be one of ours. I think Giggsy will have made LvG very aware of that as well.

I find it difficult to believe we would actually go out with the intention of losing a match. That said, I can see us playing some of our fringe players against Hull, so the likes of Falcao, Januzaj and Di Maria biglaugh which I think will still be probably too much for Hull seeing as they have been playing quite badly, hence the position they're in.

Still, that said, I'd be much happier to see Newcastle go down than Hull.

Naaah I know, but maybe if they got a lucky goal then we wouldn't try QUITE so hard?

Utd won't give a damn about tomorrow's game, but it's all by-the-by if Newcastle win.

I would like to see us put out a team with plenty of youngsters and give it a go but without much regard to defending. Either score lots of goals or lose. I would be fine with either, but I would hate to see us send Brucie down with a dull 1-0 loss to Man U.

(If Newcastle don't win, and I could choose to, I would lose the game to send N down. They are a disgrace and could do with a relegation. The fans are insanely unrealistic)

Valdes seems to be doing ok (except for one fluffed catch). Go on then Dave, off to the sunshine and the rest of the mercs. You'll need all that dosh for when you need to repair your car after another one of your howlers.

Scousers 5 down smile))).

It's hard watching United lose but wouldn't mind it so much if Newcastle go down. Poor performance so far.

Awful performance. Shameful. And that challenge from Fellaini would see him out of my squad for good.

Fellaini off....rightly so, disgusting and stupid tackle. What the hell was that about?

He's done so much to his credit this season, after last seasons dissapointment, then that banghead

I agree, Fellaini's normally just clumsy but that challenge was about a week late. Knobbish indeed.

Did anyone hear our fans singing "we are staying up, we are staying up" after the final whistle? hehe

Aye. We looked good enough for 16th place!

Clumsy? Every time I see Fellaini I think he's a dangerous little st - elbows everywhere.

You can't expect a team to gel immediately, I thought it was a good solid performance and once the players get to know each other it should prove a good platform to build on for the rest of the seas.... oh!
I would have asked the lads to play in studs though instead of the Sambas they were obviously wearing. They were all like Bambi on ice today.
Just glad it's all over tbh. Roll on the first summer transfer window with LvG at the helm.

Normally arms rather than elbows mate but yes although I don't think it's intentional most of the time.

Ah well, Falcao is back to Monaco then. Can't say it's a surprise, it's not really worked out, although I'm sure we were all hoping it would. Hard to say if his injury has affected him, the style of play / limited chances he has had here, or a bit of all, but nevermind. That £6m loan plus wages looks a better bet than a £40m transfer now. Good Luck to him for the future.

Will be interesting to see what happens in this department in the summer, RVP maybe out too, leaving just Rooney and a returning Hernandez as senior forwards with Wilson as back up.

I'm glad Falcao was a loan not a buy. Shame we can't send DM back. Man, what a waste of money.

The Glazers pockets are deeper than ten years ago but we need to spend wisely.
LVG know what he wants and I reckon he'll get it. Question is, at what price?
