I know it's only Wigan but Targaryan looks unbelievable! He's going to be very very good for us!

Jose must be perversely delighted with that performance. He can probably see the potential for huge gains from every player out there except maybe Mik...
Even with a second or 3rd string team out we should have been better.
Powell certainly seemed to want to prove a point smile

The full game is available on YouTube. I streamed it to my fire stick last night on the big screen. Still knocks me out technology.

Thought Mikytharyan was excellent in the #10. So positive and running with the ball. Bailly comfortable, nervous start but settled quickly. Shaw back.

The big plus for me though was the speed of play and the first touches were nailed. I know it's only Wigan but so...

Powell....never saw that from him before.

Happens every season - the youngsters look great in the pre-season warm up games, but they then turn out to be rubbish or we sell them on. Rinse and repeat for the last decade.

smile Sorry. Jaded git, I know. It annoys because I prefer watching youngsters come through to watching big money players.

Apparently an official bid has been submitted of £84m for Pogba. Personal terms have been agreed of around £10m a year.

Sunday times mentioned a €100m fee, The Guardian and other sources £100m, all of them excluding an additional €25 to €30m signing fee for his agent for making three phone calls and two emails.

Best of all, you almost think you'd get a world class player for the money, never seen it though.

That's because he's the god of Manchester.

Slightly more likely though; because he's 35, had a long season playing in the Euro's. So marketing trips organized by Mr.Ed played at the other end of the globe for some much needed cash aren't the best preparation to the season.

Agents' fees are hilarious. Must be the best paid job in the world by a long way. £30m for 20 minutes work that any idiot could do.

Of course they are, he wrote it in the records before he was sacked at the end of the season.

I dont think he is world class but he has the potential to be, only 23 and Juve know we have buckets of cash and can drag out as much as they can for him.

Betting suspended on him coming, would be massive if we got him. Jose will no doubt develop him in to the world class talent that he has potential to be!
