Jose must be perversely delighted with that performance. He can probably see the potential for huge gains from every player out there except maybe Mik...
Even with a second or 3rd string team out we should have been better.
Powell certainly seemed to want to prove a point
Prove a point,or break a leg .Even with a second or 3rd string team out we should have been better.

The full game is available on YouTube. I streamed it to my fire stick last night on the big screen. Still knocks me out technology. Thought Mikytharyan was excellent in the #10. So positive and running with the ball. Bailly comfortable, nervous start but settled quickly. Shaw back.
The big plus for me though was the speed of play and the first touches were nailed. I know it's only Wigan but so...
Powell....never saw that from him before.

Happens every season - the youngsters look great in the pre-season warm up games, but they then turn out to be rubbish or we sell them on. Rinse and repeat for the last decade.
Ahhh, nevermind then. Drop the positivity guys.Challo said:
Apparently an official bid has been submitted of £84m for Pogba. Personal terms have been agreed of around £10m a year.
Sunday times mentioned a €100m fee, The Guardian and other sources £100m, all of them excluding an additional €25 to €30m signing fee for his agent for making three phone calls and two emails. Best of all, you almost think you'd get a world class player for the money, never seen it though.

Why is Zlatan not going to china, he hasn't fallen out with mourinhio already has he?
That's because he's the god of Manchester.Slightly more likely though; because he's 35, had a long season playing in the Euro's. So marketing trips organized by Mr.Ed played at the other end of the globe for some much needed cash aren't the best preparation to the season.
