I'm really not convinced by Ramos, £30m+ for a 29 year old CB? I know we need a bit of experience but really?

Plus he is a right dirty bd everytime I've seen him play which drives me nuts!
Should have 4 years of top class football in him. I know he is a dirty sneaky bar steward but would love to see him in a United shirt.

yes

This for me too. Plus you get that fear factor back, imagine being a striker and heading towards a combo of Ramos and Rojo

He's one of the best centre halves in the world , a leader , vastly experienced etc etc he would be a magnificent signing

Really is quite astonishing to see some fans turning their noses up at Ramos.

What a signing if we can pull it off but it's a big if. Graham Hunter was adamant about it last night on TalkSport.

Normally pretty reliable graham hunter.

Ramos puts that bit of spite back that's been missing for a while. And half his reds would have been yellows in the premier league

About as reliable as a journalist can be I guess?

He basically all but named his source as Ramos' agent/brother.

Ramos is the real deal, finished article, horrible to play against I can imagine. Would be a great signing.

Absolutely this. You don't play at RM for as many games as he has unless you're top notch. Get him in !

Same with the Spain squad as well, he has many caps!!

I still think this will end up with him signing a new contract, although I wouldn't be upset with Otamendi if he were the alternative

Mascherano for Barca shows the error of that assumption smile

Still, a good buy if it comes off.

So we kick off the new season proper against Spurs, live on BT.

Hoping for a better start this time.

So Ramos was just squeezing for more money and Falacos off to Chelski?

Yep it's going to be the start of a number of s in Jose's armour as he is forced to play him to justify his decision and he constantly fails to score.

Or more likely Jose will play to his strengths, Falcao will develop a telepathic understanding with Fabregas and we'll be regretting it all season!!

Why? What factors and evidence suggest that? Pure pessimism?
