No but Pogba isn't worth the reported price either.
If Higuain is moving for that kind of money then it's because Napoli are selling to a rival in the same league, their best player and they know Juventus are due a lot of money soon... I doubt many people are going to seriously suggest these players are worth any of the prices banded around.

I've no idea how financially stable Juve are but does this mean they HAVE to sell and we now have them over a barrel so they can't afford to turn down a paltry £85m?
Yeah, 4-1 is a shocking result. I mean, that's 2 matches and nearly 4 weeks he's had. Of course I'm joking! If we begin to regularly play proper football within 3 months I'll be happy. If we can do that AND get to Christmas with a realistic chance of winning the Prem, I'll be as happy as a pig in another pig.

Is Higuain worth anything like that? Stats may suggest otherwise but he misses more than he scores from what I've seen ...
Well last season he equalled the all-time Serie A goalscoring record, playing for an average Napoli side.Edited by DocJock on Sunday 24th July 17:17
Mourinho:
"The Manchester United manager said beforehand the priority was for his new team to start the process of gelling, with zero focus on the opposition"
“At the moment the engines are completely different. Formula 1 against Formula 3. They are much sharper and you can see that easily, so it’s difficult to judge my players.”
“After 10 minutes we know that one team started training 10 days ago and played one match, and the other team started one month ago and played already four games,” he said. “It’s so easy to see the difference of intensity and sharpness. For us it was very difficult.”
Interesting to note that the Bundesliga starts at the 26st of august while the premier league already starts on the 13th of august, with ManU playing their first match on the 14th.

So what you are saying is that it's NOT a done deal as it stands at this moment then as if United had offered over £100m he would have signed already?
I assume you are trying to pick apart what Alpine has said? All he said was Pogba has been agreed, he didn't say with who
Surely you are aware in most instances the buying club will check the player wants the move before committing to a big
So Raiola goes to PP and says, United want you back, they are offering you 250k a week and want to build a team around you. PP says yeah happy with that, can't wait
PP is agreed
Its then up to the clubs to hash out a deal, including price, add ons, payment structures etc

Well it's good of you to interpret Alpinstars post but the fact is if your analysis of what he is saying is correct (the bit in bold above) then it isn't a done deal as the clubs haven't agreed yet.I'd like to see him back in the premier league but I do think the gun has been jumped here.
