Was it important when you were playing us at Old trafford last year, seemed it to me in the ground thats for sure.....
Or does your opinion change after the QF??
What if you didnt make top 4, or it was really close, would it then become important as a route into the champions league??
Playing you lot is always important. It transcends any competition. Or does your opinion change after the QF??

GettImg to CL is far more difficult in this competition than getting top 4 in my view. If we're still in it and top 4 is looking difficult, of course it takes on more importance. But we're talking here and now, and the league is more important in my view.

You don't think you have the squad to compete for the EL and the league?
It's a PITA competition. Too many games which disrupt the preparation for the more important league games. Others may have a different view. anniesdad said:

I think we do, i want to see us pushing on all fronts, but especially the league obviously. Alpinestars said:

Surely the early rounds against the lesser teams is a time to utilise your squad and in effect not really having much effect on your wknds game?GettImg to CL is far more difficult in this competition than getting top 4 in my view. Fellani in with a point to prove but again it's a midfield 2, far more positive. His presence I hope means that Herrera has moved up the pecking order for the first team
Yes I hope Herrera has been advanced up the pecking order, he's a "footballer"Alpinestars said:

The difference between what ManU wants to be (P&L wise, ought to be) and what ManU currently is, is quite a difference (arrogance meets ignorance probably). Ac Milan is in a sort of similar (but worse) position. Their new Chinese owners (that's the same country most ManU fans come from) shiver of the prospect not playing CL. So with a little help of UEFA they get a 4th CL spot guaranteed from 2018 and on. Even though the Italian clubs in 4th position didn't manage to qualify themselves for the CL in 6 out of the last 7 years.
In the last 15 years UEFA has been given a few country's like England a stuntastic 4 CL spots. That's way more than a billion Euro's in DIRECT UEFA money extra going to leaques with 4 clubs in the CL compared to those with just 1, think of all the indirect money from sponsors/attendance fees etc.
It's a huge Platini'esque scam. But then again Football is big scam, go ask big Sam.
