And as of 2018 UEFA wants to introduce another steering parameter (because let's be honest you can't have the unpredictability of sport, it'll just ruin the commercial side of things); CL history comes into play. Probably because CL football isn't predictable enough.


By the way you lot just won a match against Loegansk with 0-1, repeat not Real, but Loegansk.

Because the Loegansk goalkeeper defended his goal while standing within the confinement of his goal. That's never going to work.

At least you followed it up with the whole team were rubbish.

Specifically though are you not happy that he didn't control the ball properly when it was fired into him? Getting a lucky touch to Ibra? What else did he do wrong?

We were pretty rubbish in the first half and not much better in the second, our chances created tally being Rashford's effort that hit the bar, that was it.

We didn't play well at all last night. Very disjointed again and lots of giving the ball away. It's still early days I suppose, I just hope all competitions haven't gone by the time it does start to click.
Thought Lingard deserved a special mention - he put on a great display to play his way into contention for the first team (of the reserves!).
Bailly was even more worrying than usual with the reckless challenges but maybe he'll get it under control soon.

What was worse was Savage's commentary about how fantastic Rooney was for the goal, dropping off and not rushing in. It was toe curling.

He did mention it more than once. Not running then scuffing it is Rooney's bread and butter after all!

But compared to teams like Real Madrid, Milan, Bayern, Liverpool, Barcelona who actually win it you are small fry, uefa cup is about right for you and your European history.
