35 in 55 appearances overall for us.
5 in 17 this season with a number of issues as we know. This season in no way can be taken as indicative of him.
You don't give up on a 35 in 55 striker.
I have no doubt he would get us 20+ goals if he was fit. But what if this latest surgery doesn't work?5 in 17 this season with a number of issues as we know. This season in no way can be taken as indicative of him.

Can we go into another season with him walking on eggshells.

Makes sense if we have a budget - we need the money to go on a decent striker - get Raheem signed and get his head back in the game

Rodgers says Liverpool's "other priorities" in other areas meant their interest in Memphis Depay went no further.

I do agree tbh - IBE, STERLING, MARKOVIC , origi can all play out wide - we need CFx2, CM, DM, RB priorites He is probably better than most we have but its not a priority. Maybe if Raheem was deffo off, they might have wedged in with a bigger bid?
If they did want a winger they should be going for Yevhen Konoplyanka - keeps his budget in tack - wanted him a while ago for 16m but the owner would not sanction it - this summer he is available for free - so keeps the pennies in the pockets for priority positions

Mario Balotelli has an escape route.Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has reiterated his desire to take the striker back to Italy - and says he'd do it "immediately" if given the chance.
"He's a great name and certainly he'd be welcomed by many clubs," Ferrero said. "If it were up to me, I would bring him to Sampdoria immediately. It would be fantastic to have him together with Eto'o."
Balotelli scored 14 goals for AC Milan in the Serie A last season.

That's not bad. What about this season?
Whats your point? im giving reasons why italian clubs would be interested in him playing in italy again ? he has a record in Italy that is decent for 10-12m , you saying because of his year here all that is forgotten ? I know there's decent player in him somewhere.

No, I wanted you to post 1.
I know there's decent player in him somewhere.
We have bought a player that needs to be played as a 2, then played him as a 1 then expected him to chase down players like Suarez did - something he has never done - he will do fine in a team that play to his strengths but BR is not willing to scrap his methods for 1 player - reason why we should never have bought him.I know there's decent player in him somewhere.
But BR was given him or Eto to sign so you can understand why he chose him.
Issue is why the fk did we only have Sanchez as an option when we had just sold a player for 75m -
