If you listen to the recording, Tony Evans says "Liverpool will probably bring in Benteke the second Sterling leaves". Also, the way he says about Liverpool already having a number of transfers in place this summer, sounds like he's talking past tense rather than future!

Now he is making out he doesnt want to play for Bredan Rodgers.

Sure RT will grab that to make hay, but at the moment Sterling will do anything to get a transfer.
.
Im certain even RT will see it for exactly what it is, More Crap advice from his agent.
To be fair to RT he didn't say Sterling wasn't being stupid/ getting bad advice from his agent. He has been saying it's our fault the whole thing started when we offered him too low a deal.

Oh I know that I was more saying I don't think RT will try and use it against BR.

if you really want to leave you should hand in a transfer request.

The medical staff to his house is comedy.

Whatever was the catalyst that started it and whatever his agent advised him to do that didn't help in between there's sadly some serious natural talent as a toy throwing twunt shining through now.

Benteke handed one in didn't he when he last wanted to leave Villa?

I think Sterling is an exceptional young player with an amazing career ahead of him. He'll look back at this moment when he becomes a man and cringe with embarrassment.

I'm surprised City haven't come back in for him yet.

Again all about money as they loose bonuses etc if they hand one in, but Sterling isn't about the money so he'll just hand one in right? oh yeah....

The owners will take a tough line, and good for them. I see Wards other star in his stable has bolted, the West Brom striker. hardly shows how to manage a player does it?

I know i'm going to get pelters for this & i'll get called a troll blah, blah, blah but...

Liverpool are really handling this Sterling business so badly it's unbelievable. Surely if he's as troublesome as it appears why the fk are they reporting it for all the potential buyers to see what a knob the young man seems to be ?

Surely they would have been better saying " oh Raheem is fine but is just a little poorly right now" rather than send doctors round his house & generally ill advertise their biggest playing asset ? i just don't get it or is it just me .

I dont think Liverpool are, its his agent leaking everything to try and force their hand

Interestingly reports in the Mirror this morning that Saido Berahinho has dropped Aidy Ward as his agent due to all this.

Sterling is just a nob.

If we sell him and buy Benteke and Pedro this will have been the best window ever.
Id argue we have had much better windows. Alonso/Garcia was our best window in terms of outcome over a few years. Best midfield in the world after that.

Very interesting that - shows some young lads have their heads screwed on right -
Or maybe we are interested in him and he knows it? ( I think he might be option 2 if Benteke fails)

At least when Barca/Real come knocking for Coutinho in a year or so they will just pay what we ask and it will be done quickly.

I read this morning (so could be complete rubbish) that a lot of the leaks are coming from the club, rather than the agent. Which is just another thing that has pissed Raheem off. Private conversations between him and BR have made it into the press.

Depends on the perspective.

City could be putting Sterling up to all this to try and force our hand and drive down the price. In the same way, Ward could be engineering this, not City, but for the same reasons. In that case it could be any camp that is leaking the info. City/Ward to try and show how unhappy Sterling is at LFC, or LFC to show how unprofessional they're being.

In either case, as has been said before, they should really look at how we dealt with Suarez when Arsenal tried to buy him to see how those sort of tactics will work out for them.

Our stance has always been, either stump up £50m or he stays. I can't see that changing unless Sterling starts going all vampire on a regular basis in pre-season.

I haven't seen any official release from the club? I imagine the reason it's been widely reported about medics to his house is because every single club probably has the same policy. When you are paying people £35k a week (and a lot more) I imagine your sick policy is a little different than if you're paying £6.50 an hour.

Regarding a release saying he's poorly? Really? It's known he wants to leave, was photographed right as rain earlier in the week - nobody would believe it and it would generate more questions.

With Aidy Wards latest outburst we are now on our third reason why he wants to leave. He's clearly a wand, being badly advised. I don't see how the club could have done much else.

Good to read Berahino has ditched Ward now. Clearly a few more iq points than Raheem!
