It was an open training session - hence the small crowd - that BR turned into a 60 minute match at the last minute.

Digne is an interesting link. If you ask me, the one weak link remaining in our team is at LB. Moreno, great going forward but cannot defend for sh!t. I have not seen Digne play but from reports about him in the press, he is excellent at LB. I wonder if BR would then mold Moreno into a left winger?!

Anybody else think that so far our pre-season has been a tad easy? I know the miles travelled will be quite knackering and it's only designed to get fitness levels up, but shouldn't things be just a little bit competitive?

Looks dodgy! Has that pic been edited? The centre of gravity must be too high on that structure (or it's a lot wider than in looks) for it to be lifted using the bottom corners. One gust of wind at the wrong time and the whole thing would spin upside down. Which would be fairly calamitous with something that size.

I'd say after last season a confidence booster was probably just the ticket. Don't forget that 10-15 years ago you'd have just been playing local non league sides with the odd big game - I think people put way too much thought into things nowadays.

Looks to me like it's not being lifted by straps but by solid rods? Could be wrong though. Nice to see some progress with the stadium though, thanks for sharing!
