How's Clyne been? I've not watched any of the pre season games. Did read good stuff about Gomez at left back as well.

Could end up with a new full back team for the new season.

He's been good. Not amazing - I think he's been a bit outshone by Gomez, who nobody expect to look so assured considering his age. But he's not put a foot wrong yet and got one or two assists already.

Looks dodgy! Has that pic been edited? The centre of gravity must be too high on that structure (or it's a lot wider than in looks) for it to be lifted using the bottom corners. One gust of wind at the wrong time and the whole thing would spin upside down. Which would be fairly calamitous with something that size.

Yes, they are metal tubular A frames on each end.

Looks to me like it's not being lifted by straps but by solid rods? Could be wrong though. Nice to see some progress with the stadium though, thanks for sharing!

Exactly why I didn't remark on it - those who don't mind BR will say Henderson didn't have to come out with what he said, that he has little to gain from it now. Others will just say "Well he would say that, wouldn't he".

That the question is actually being asked and responded to by the club captain is what is significant. It'll all be yesterday's news if we start the season well.

I'd never have thought Jordan Henderson would make Liverpool captain. Remarkable progress for the lad. There are many what ifs from the run in 2 seasons ago. Mine was that having him sent off against the City game hurt us badly. He had a much quieter season last season and I still doubt his quality, I just think he's stand out attributes are his work rate and consistency. But then having 2 solid, dependable midfielders in Milner and Henderson isn't a bad thing as long as we have the flair and creativity further up the field.

Has Benteke bought Zidane's house yet?

What made it worse was Mark Lawrenson's running side commentary "analysis". He really is the most annoying football pundit on this planet. Talks b0llocks. I'd rather listen to Phil Neville.

oh mate - he is sooo irritating - he attempts at humour are bad enough to drive you to kill yourself - he actually reminds me a bit of BCM on here, trying to be cute with humour but it just coming across real bad haha

Liverpool could be winning 10-0 and he would still try and find something negative about the performance.
