I may have missed it but I haven't seen much of that type of thing, if any at all.

From what I can tell most people are thinking 5th, perhaps 4th at a push. I certainly can't see more than that.

I hope he scores 15, 20 goals this season and then we offer him a £900k/week contract next summer! hehe

HAHA yep agreed - although he is a different breed to Sterling - extra training, mother as agent etc

Aah, fair enough then.

I just couldn't be arsed going through 20 odd pages of drivel.

I am hoping we are a top six team, top 4 would be absolutely amazing, I think it is a step too far for us but anything can happen in this bonkers game.

The others will be too strong I feel. (Chelsea, Arsenal, Utd and City top four)

United may be the ones to slip up this season, lots of unconvincing performances last season & they are lacking a couple of positions at the moment, just hope they are not planning a huge coup for a world class striker!

City might be slightly better than last season squad wise, but again they struggled for form quite a lot, they may be vunerable surprisingly IMHO.

Arsenal & Chelsea will be the top two, in which order I'm not sure!

For me the table will read

Heart:

Chelsea
Arsenal
Man City
Man U/ Liverpool
Spurs

Head:
Arsenal
Chelsea
City
United
Spurs/Liverpool

A lot will depend on the opening 6 matches, get a bad run & we are playing catch up for the rest of the season which is never easy, Europa will take its toll as well.

I'm struggling to see how United will get top 4 with only Rooney and Chicarito as strikers.

Theres no way that Man Utd let the transfer window close without buying another striker.

If city can keep Aguero fit then they will be in the reckoning. He is a fabulous player. Otherwise hard to see past Chelsea for me.

Since moving to City, Aguero has missed 1/3rd of games.

given our first 6 away games - Stoke, Arse, ManU, Spurs, Chelsea, ManC - I will be happy if we are top 6 come the start of December
You are ignoring our home games though wink
My logic side is assuming we win most/all of those, and lose/draw most of the away games - which will be more points dropped than our key competition. If we are top 4 after 12 games it will be a huge result IMO

Depay is a winger no ? Chicarito is still being linked with a move away and I forgot about and Wilson.

Perhaps we won't be getting anyone else in after all - Ayre says we've got the players we were after.

No one knows about Depay yet, he was a winger yes but LvG has played him as a striker and No10 in preseason so we dont have a clue

Yeah Chicharito is linked away but nothing concrete

Chelsea for me, with Arsenal second

Think we have a chance of 3rd/4th as I am sure Utd/City will slip up, just depends whether we can be consistent enough and win the majority of our home games.

Utd are going through a bigger change than we have done and will take time to settle. De Gea was their man of the season last year so that says a lot about them.. If he leaves, it will be a huge loss.
City are still aging and I think will struggle slightly

I'm going to save any predictions until the transfer window closes. I think the top four are currently keeping their powder dry and we'll see at least one or two BIG transfers, with them trying to catch each other out and not leave enough time for the other clubs to react.

Top 5. And more goals than last season.
