Maybe not worse, but there's bugger all difference apart from that price tag really. I always read a week or two ago that Martial has only played 8 full 90 minute games in his professional career. Haven't bothered to mention it until now as I didn't want to come across as ABU or on the wind up, etc, but I did think that was quite an astonishing stat when put with the price tag!

Wow. If clubs are buying players for that sort of money for only playing a few full matches, that really is poor. Whether it's Utd, U.S. or anyone.RedTrident said:
Swapped for Allen more or less, clearly with us paying nearly twice as more. He'd never have come on here I think, he needed game time to mature and got this at Swansea.
This made me giggle... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverp...

What's the humourous element to that story? This made me giggle... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverp...

So do we reckon BR will drop Lovren for the Man U game? If he does drop him it will look like he has lost faith in him (along with the rest of us lol) And could therefore affect his already low confidence for the rest of the season, Or does he bite the bullet and throw Sakho back in? He will probably get lambasted whichever way he does it, especially if we lose, Roger's must know that a lot rests on this game and if he fks this one up then he possibly won't recover from it.. But if we stuff them and start a good winning streak (as he has done before) Who Knows ??? I just hope him and Gary Mac have been burning the midnight oil for the past week conjuring a plan to (A) sort our central defence out and (B) to smash the Manc's lol, as games don't get any more vital than the next couple for BR and co, Thankfully at the moment they are as ste as us Carrick is injured Rooney couldn't score in a brothel, Romero (if he plays) is also garbage, We may not get such a good chance as this to beat them (shame Coutihno is out though) Lets see if Firminho can step up to the plate.
Problem is playing him may just cost Roger's his job (rightly or wrongly) So there are much bigger implications than just Lovren being 'out of favour'.. If he brings Sakho back and we still get hammered, it might be slightly easier for him explaining himself to the irate fans lol.. as most seem to hate Lovren whereas many favour Sakho, Either way it really is a must win game for us as well as Man U.. The red cafe Man U forum has a good few fans that aren't happy with Van Gaal and are saying they want him out if they get beat.. Both managers are under immense pressure to win this one.
I heard a rumour that Sturridge may be fit for the Utd game.. God we need that man back fully fit ASAP.. He can really win games for us, Usually scores against Utd as well. Let him play 45 minutes then wrap him up in cotton wool until the next game, and then gently urwrap him again. lol
