The story last week was Sturridge isn't being rushed back and may not be ready until Oct/Nov. To be honest, he's had so many injuries after coming back from injury he's better out of the side until they're sure he's 100%.

He said he's " not eyeing absolute top club", last week. I get the feeling his next press snippet will be, "I think I'd like to coach a club beginning with L...".

Yup, that's it - were not an absolute top club, key word being absolute.

Look at FSG only running the club for the money.

lets be honest if they were to sell the club at anytime this extension would make us a much more attractive proposition.

10 million net spend this summer off the back of a record tv deal.

Though truth be told I'd not have let Mr Rodgers spend half of what they allowed this summer. smile

I sit opposite the new stand and I was thinking I wouldn't want to be that high up watching matchstick men. I'm sure they'l sell the tickets with ease though.

I believe they have sold all the £5k hospitality ones, looking at the height of the top deck you may as well hire a helicopter, I mean it's bad enough at the back corner of the main stand never mind the new one.

True but they are actually doing something to enhance the clubs potential, let alone the value.

When I was last there I was in the upper centenary and that was bad enough. We scored 3 goals and I couldn't tell who'd scored any of them. It was like watching FIFA on a tv 30 feet away. No wonder the atmosphere was poor. Still I guess it must be worse if you're at the back of the Nou Camp.

Made me realise how I miss going to a game and being sat so you can see the players and get more involved in the action to be honest. Perhaps I should go and support my local team as well. My nearest teams are either the MK Dons or Northampton. What a choice.

LOL I guess I'm not doing so badly up here after all - at least its 2 (fairly) modern stadia. Although Sixfields is bloody freezing in winter. Siberia would be warmer.
