With how blinded the owners seem to be with BR`s legendary waffle I can see him being at Liverpool for a very long time sadly...are we the only people that can see that he doesn't have a clue what he is doing.
I think its time we all just accept that he is here to stay.
Thing is he's really F'ing convincing! I think its time we all just accept that he is here to stay.
That and the fact that each season so far, we go on a decent run of results that seems to back him up?
It's all rather frustrating but if Sturridge stays fit, he might make a big enough difference to keep us in a genuine fight for top 4.
:-/
My concern is that Sturridge coming back gives us just enough half decent results that we end up with BR staying. I'm fine with us playing brilliantly when we have someone of Sturridge's calibre available, but without, we seem utterly clueless.
Anyway, whilst he's still the manager I'll still get behind the team, albeit a little less enthusiastically. Not finding every tiny thing to beat him with, or moaning about the owners either.

You are spot on though in that he convinces who he needs to so he keeps his job as safe as houses.

So what you're really saying is that we should have gone out and bought 2 or 3 QUALITY players, proven world class talents to go alongside the Sturridge's and Couthino's in the team because we are clueless without quality and too much inexperienced potential. Well go figure!!!!type-r said:

You've bought well, but there is no point buying an F1 car and then asking Stephen Hawking to get it on pole.type-r said:

Well go figure!!!!I'm saying BR needs to figure out a way to get the best out of the average players in the squad so that we're not so god awful when Sturridge is injured. There's no way we should be going from Top 4 contenders with Sturridge, to bottom 10 contenders without him.

Fair play. Just so frustrated like everyone else. How a manager can spend £120m and then a further £80m in the space of 12 months and play a brand of football that is so poor and boring. Since March 4th this year, we have only scored more than 1 goal in any game just 3 times. One fifth of £1 Billion pounds. Wow!!
That really should have seen him out of the door I would have thought at most clubs. Flip Martian said:

The problem is we're trying to break into a £500m club with half the admission fee! Though the goal return is woefully under what we should be seeing. I assume the owners are just giving the team a bit of time to see if they gel, before giving BR the boot.
Though I also agree with the cut-throat opinion that, if someone better is available, is it not better to replace the manager with that person regardless. That's what we do with players every summer!
To underline what a difficult position this is to be in, I agree with both of those ideas... Like many, I suspect he will be given until xmas, unless we go on a big losing streak.Though I also agree with the cut-throat opinion that, if someone better is available, is it not better to replace the manager with that person regardless. Maybe it will be sooner rather than later... https://twitter.com/AnfieldHQ/status/6500606716236...
