I have mixed feelings, I think he should have gone in the summer, or stayed until Xmas.

This feels all wrong, and tbh I think LFC are a F'ing mess of a club now and I can't see how that will change whilst we moneyball in the transfer market and sack managers.

Summer was the right time after the messy end to the season.

Ancelloti will mean a different approach to moneyball. I want Klopp but lets be honest either are better than the paper cup fraud.

Absolutely made up.
Thanks Rodgers for the 36 months of highs and lows but it's time now to play week in week out with an actual strategy. Not winging by changing formations every few games.
Looking forward to the rest of the season now.

Reports were last week though that FSG didn't want Klopp. Who knows, I guess we'll find out. Jamie C talking about lots of politics at the club and it being a question of which manager would want to manage LFC at the present time with that kind of thing going on.

Rodgers has gone! Just announced on Sky.
Hallelujah! Hopefully Ancellotti is lined up - he'd be my ONLY choice. Just need someone who is respected and a proven winner.

^ This.

He had my full support from the word go, but over last season and this one it seemed he didn't really have a clear strategy and I wonder if the inconsistencies have lead to him losing the dressing room this year. I wonder how much respect his slightly patronising personality can command from today's footballers, especially if the results are not being delivered.

We needed to change and move on, will be interesting to see who comes in.

I was just coming on here to commiserate with you that the fact of a 1-1 draw wasn't probably enough to get shot of him. Just goes to show what do we know.

Pretty sure though that this was a done deal way before today.

Shame I liked him managing you lot. He seemed oblivious to blame and clueless in motivation.

Dear Mr Rogers, you can't always lead by being "Mr nice guy"....
