This is exactly what I said to him - I don't care what manager you have it's very unlikely that Klopp will beat a second place position (hence my easy money comment).
Rodgers got 2nd place and a cup win in pretty much 3 seasons, I see that as good going (but I am a West Ham Fan!). Not sure what fans expect that all.
Like the style of play comment though.
What cup did he win - did I imagine the horror show at wembley in the Semis?? I fking hope so Rodgers got 2nd place and a cup win in pretty much 3 seasons, I see that as good going (but I am a West Ham Fan!). Not sure what fans expect that all.

Did he not win the cup for white toothed, cheesy smile and watch wearer of the year?
He also won the one for talking out his backside and believing his own hype...whilst actually winning nothing!! I can`t start to tell you how happy I am that he is gone.
Whoever comes in next has to be better than the fraud we have just got rid of and hopefully he might actually win us something all being well.

I would like a manager that admits we were crap, if we were crap- and tells the players they were crap- if they were crap. no more bullst and manager speak please

Just had a bet with a mate who is a Liverpool fan (I'm West Ham) that Klopp wont better Rodgers records in the Premiership - to me easy money!
I always get the feeling Liverpool fans just expect too much from their team.
What's Liverpool fans realistic predictions under Klopp (if/when he signs)? Or maybe better what's your expectations on where Liverpool should be?
I said this a few pages back but reckon I'll be repeating it to every non-LFC fan who comes on here asking the same question whilst assuming we all think we are going to win the league now:I always get the feeling Liverpool fans just expect too much from their team.

"This season? I would settle for a manager with a clear strategy, clear selection of 2/3 formations depending on game, players playing in their best positions and with some confidence. The results and league position would then come naturally. I would be happier with 7th and all the other things firing in the last 2 months, than 5th with a manager who is still trying to work out what to do/who plays where/who he likes at the end of the season."

Interesting quotes from Klopp about how he misused Nuri Sahin when he was on loan at Anfield: http://www.thisisanfield.com/2015/10/jurgen-klopp-...
Sahin quoted as saying “thank God I have left Brendan Rodgers,” before rejoining Klopp at Dortmund on loan in 2013.

And a good interview with a German footy journalist about Klopp fitting in at LFC and which players he would favour:
