Speaking of Arsenal fans that wanted Klopp, Piers Morgan isn't happy. Apparently he's on TalkSport today, the same day we'll be announcing him signing for us!

I was thinking Pep, but not sure if he was a 'Legend' at Barca.
I think in summary there aren't many around!
Instead of working I've been looking at this - very productiveI think in summary there aren't many around!
So far
Franz Beckenbauer at Munich (he won the league as manager, but doesn't seem to have been around long)
Ancelotti won the European Cup twice as a player at Milan and twice as a manger so I suppose he definitely qualifies.
It's pretty slim pickings.

Somewhat off on a tangent, but are there any examples of 'Legend' status players going on to become managers and being successful at the club where they built their status?
Pep Guardiola?I think in summary there aren't many around!

Never going to be thought of as a 'Legend' at United. Hence my question about his status.

Not so!!Never going to be thought of as a 'Legend' at United. Hence my question about his status.
Years ago I had been on a heavy night out, we played Liverpool on the Sunday. No one else would come to the pub so I buggered off on my own, it was a dire match and I regretted my decision, until John fking O'Shea popped up with a late (80 something) winner and we beat them 1-0
He's a legend in my eyes
Must be close now - the BBC are reporting Klopp signing will be announced later today.

What is this cup win you speak of?
Sorry thought it was him when you won it 11/12 - it was Kenny wasn't it?Think Klopp will be good for the Prem too, who do you think he will slap first, I'm going Skrtel!
It'll be a great coup if you get him. It's fine these managers going to clubs with limitless pots of money but let's see what looks like a good manager work at a club with less funds ... And take them somewhere. It's gonna be great seeing how he gets on.
If Mourinho is THAT special, send him to the Stadium of Light and get them into the top four ... Then I'll believe his bks ...

...and in other news it looks like FIFA are imploding!
What does "provisionally suspended" by the Ethics Committee mean? Provisional subject to final ratification by, err, Blatter & Co.??Don't be surprised to see him decide not to ratify it and to suspend the Ethics Committee instead. There's seemingly no limit to how far that tt will go to cling onto power.

Hoping its just shoddy writing from the journo. Beginning of the end for all of them, hopefully. Don't be surprised to see him decide not to ratify it and to suspend the Ethics Committee instead. There's seemingly no limit to how far that tt will go to cling onto power.
But probably not. Blatter will eventually go and everyone else will promise to be good boys and let off.
