A 14 sq.m machine you say? Skrtel will soon have it in a headlock and take the bad boy down.

Klopp to the Sky journo outside his house "from tomorrow I will be 24/7 a Liverpool man but today some private things to sort out - I speak to you tomorrow". Klopp now on his way to Liverpool with his family.

I was shocked you guys didnt go for him in the summer tbh - his fast direct style of play is very much UTD - unlike the slower sytle you have now
Fingers crossed it goes as well as we (LFC) hope... still enough time left this season to make a fight for top 4 thats for sure.

This is exciting news!

When people were talking about Klopp last year I was never convinced we'd be able to get him without CL football smile

No, indeed! I was just remembering earlier that when he was mentioned a year or so back it was seen as "pie in the sky" almost. Since Rafa left we have had Hodgson, Kenny and BR. This is by far the most ambitious and forward looking appointment. I don't remember top teams's fans being wary when we got any of the other 3...

Ex-Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has issued a bizarre challenge to prospective Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: take over at Sunderland instead.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss has emerged as the big favourite to replace Brendan Rodgers at Anfield, but the Reds aren’t the only Premier League club with a new managerial vacancy.
Speaking on his Kicca account, Redknapp said: ‘Klopp will go in there [Liverpool] and probably finish fourth, they might finish fifth.
‘Put him in at Sunderland now and see if he can do the job there. It would be a different story.’
Sunderland, without a win in their first eight matches, are 19th in the Premier League and lie nine points below Liverpool.

As a Hammers fan old enough to have cheered 'Arry on from the terraces I used to like his cockney banter but he certainly seems to have lost the plot. Seemed to turn bitter when he didn't get called in for the England job. That comment above is just plain daft!

Harry is just a bit bitter he is yet to land a top tier manager role and believes all english managers are best.

Well done in getting you're man. I must admit i rather like Klopp.

Obviously i want him to fail, but congratulations all the same.

The EPL is about competition.
Neither United nor Liverpool have unlimited funds so the more that real clubs that can stick it to the nouveau riche the better.

Kop flop Klopp?

Not sure why but I am quite excited by his appointment. Looking forward to the next game to see the tactics, team, formation and desire.
