Ha ha Klopp is the kinda guy that might just do that, I think he will find us a new keeper, a central defender to replace Skrtel (probably) and a quality defensive midfielder (to replace Lucas) Other than that he will probably see what this squad can come up with under a totally different set up IE coaching / tactics/ formation/ Confidence,.. I want to see what the likes of Firminio, Benteke, Cann, Moreno,Clyne, Ings, Ibe, Gomaz can do under this guys coaching wing.

To be honest, I think a lot of football fans from other teams are eager to see what a difference he will make to a talented, yet under performing side.

I think we will see this formation.
Only issue I see is Firmino sometimes forgets about his defensive duties and in the outer roles its crucial to track wingbacks

He'll be meeting this beauty more often though.

Might just be short of a few bob though. I'm sure JWH is sufficiently relaxed

I think we'll see Can, Henderson, Lucas and Milner fight for the two holding positions.

I think Firmino and Coutinho tried out in the hole, with the other taking the left position. I think Ings will get the right hand side, rotated with Origi. That leaves Sturridge and Benteke for the top spot.

I agree. It has been interesting to see the reaction from non-Reds this week and it has been overwhelming positive. We definitely have a very good squad, talented as you say and young. Klopp just has to make them hungry.

You know you're a big club when supporters of other big clubs start trying to wind you up when something good happens to you...

Feeling threatened much?

Just sayin'.

Cheers, Pommy, that's the first time Yeovil Town have been called a big club.

hehe Im butting out of it.. They reckon their squad is miles better than ours.. Individually I just don't see it particularly in midfield and up top, With the right coaching we will be all over them in future.

Now being realistic if you had to pick a starting 11 using both squads...

GK: DDG
RB: Clyne
CB: Blind
CB: Sakho
LB: Shaw (when he has working legs)

DM: Spiderman
Then Coutinho, Mata, Henderson
Upfront
Sturridge, Martial.
I make that pretty even.
Then your bench could be
Schweine
Rooney
Firmino
Benteke
Darmian
Can

If He is worried then I am buzzing.
I've always been a Klopp fan. Well documented on here. I also always maintained we could do better than Mr Rodgers.

I'm pleased that people have come round to my thinking. smile

That wasn't a dig at you, I was simply stating if SAF is worried then we actually may be ready to push on now.

That I would like to see. It'll be interesting to see how he plays Benteke.

We have a very unbalanced team imo. 4231 means Sturridge as one of the attacking 3 if Benteke is to be on the pitch at the same time. 442 diamond means Lallana and Firmino compete with Coutinho for one place.

Then we look at the 2 defensive/central midfield positions. Can, Milner, Allen, Henderson and Lucas. It's just average.

Personally I'd go for 442 diamond with

Mignolet
Clyne Skrtel Sakho Moreno
Milner Lucas Can
Coutinho
Sturridge Benteke (Ings until he's fit)

I think Lallana and Allen are on borrowed time.

They should all be worried. He's going to make us competitors again and I have no doubt he'll attract top talent.

One thing is for sure is he appears to be a workaholic who loves his job and is a total perfectionist.. Much as I love Lucas I think he will be replaced pretty quickly as that defensive midfield role is a very important position and we have been left wanting on so many occasions, Not sure were this leave Joe Allen as personally I don't believe he will be good enough even as a sub, Klopp will certainly be analysing footage going back many months to get a picture of our strength's and weaknesses. Hope it doesn't put him off too much lol.

I think he will look to build a spine of a team pretty quick.

New goalie, CB, CM.

I think he may look at the strikers and figure they are mostly young and can be worked with. The other positions are in bad need of new blood.

He may well fill those positions from within and the youth system
