He won't though will he, he made it clear that he thought BR was a fraud even when they gave the title away a couple of years ago.

Man up & move on.
can you two (a spurs and everton fan) take the argument to one of your threads? smile

Nice to see that a week after announcing the appointment of one of the world's top managers, some of you have run out of things to say and are more interested in when RT blows a fuse.... rolleyes

Some of you are genuinely posting in jest, others less so and are purposely trying to bait him to retort. Good news is that after a while, you get to know which is which and you can deal with them by booting them off the thread. wink

Says it all when the best post on the page is from the resident Spud who has it spot on. Man up and move on, innit.

In your opinion..... You state it like it is fact?

I don't think any of it wasn't said in jest. But really, if you can't laugh at all the arguments and extreme points of view that we've had on here what can you do?

I do agree that we should all move on.

However... our resident narcissist might also wish to move on, stop the self promoting grandstanding and climb down from his self proclaimed throne as some form of oracle.

If you're going to put yourself on the pedestal you're going to get comments.

So yes, let's ALL move on and enjoy the new regime.

We can probably ALL find elements of this to agree on, and even a little light amusement:

http://www.football365.com/news/harry-redknapp-foo...

Although admittedly my own light amusement quotient was raised artificially by mis-reading one bit as 'inoffensive light jizz in a hotel lobby...' hehe

"Redknapp is/was/has been too good a manager to think of him only as a gobste for hire, rather than manager and gobste for hire"

Problem is we are a selling club at the right price. Generally we get a very good price, but we have shown we are still willing to sell our best players.
To an extent, that's always been the case though...right back to keegan and souness. I think it will happen less than it has in the last few years, if we're going in the right direction.
Spot on Flip! In recent times, we've sold players that clearly wanted to leave the club. It's fair enough to try to convince players to stay but there's only so far you can go. 'Twas ever thus, no? Ian Rush even left for a season!

Would Suarez have left if Klopp had been manager then? Almost certainly.

Would Sterling have left? Probably, but if the team had been playing better, nailed on for top 4, maybe even challenging for the title again (let's face it, that's what we're hoping Klopp will deliver, probably not this season, but next), it might have been a different story.

Having said that, if somebody rocks up with £50M for Firmino, we should probably accept it and move on!
