Aguero is a fabulous player... but too casual at the back.
Aguero is so good, I don't think you can really blame anyone for his brilliance.

That said, all our quality has been in there half - Just how I like it but it will be a long 45 minutes I reckon!

Looks like a bus park is in store today. All those strikers you had in August & none of them playing in mid November.

That could be a big goal frown
We still looked like we had confidence afterwards. 1 of those things Klopp talks about. Hopefully we can do a good job in part 2...

Im sorry I can't help it but I still don't feel comfortable at all.

I can't shake the feeling we will blow this somehow.

So, to all the trolls who scoffed when some people on this thread stated Coutinho was our best player and not Sterling.......discuss....
IMO, Coutinho has comfortably been our best player since Suarez left.

If Sterling was our best player he wouldnt have been thrown in defence a few times. He would have cemented his position down.

If they score next I'll be very nervous. Hoping we put some attacking talent on in either Ibe, Sturridge or Benteke and put the game to bed before they think they can get back in it.

Surely that was down to your slightly mental former manager......?

Possibly. We knew he would get better. He still can. Just as an attacker he can't shoot. He can run with the ball but is lightweight. Maybe his shooting will improve with practice and his build will mature as he gets older.
£50m was taken and run off with but City can pay that 2-3 times a season on players.

How was that not 4??

City are still all over the place at the back.

Firmino should have a hat trick.

I have to admit, when I saw the teamsheet before kick off, I honestly thought Rodgers had picked the team tonight. With no striker, I thought we were going to see a performance like that when we went to United. But blimey, what has Klopp done to make us PLAY they way we have today. Regardless of the final scoreline tonight, some of the play was reminsicent of a couple of years ago. It's like we are playing with the ghost of Suarez in the team!

The style tonight is very reminiscent of 13/14... high press, hit them on the break, but vulnerable at the back.

Very exciting to watch for sure.

Speaking of Luis... he's got a couple against RM tonight smile

I think that's a bit of an odd statement to make. We really didn't see much of him before Klopp, but what we did see hinted at what he's done today.

I agree, on a few occasions I've thought the team selections have been quite 'BR-esque', but the mentality and tempo of the team has been like night and bright, white teeth.

Just imagine if Klopp has us playing like this more and more often - having a Suarez in that side would have been something else. But looking promising, regardless. smile
