I wonder if Sterling will even play on sunday
Based on his agent alone I would not even have him in the squad - kind of wake up call that this agent is potentially going to ruin his career. If Sterling doesn't drop his agent over this (and we all know he won't) then it says all you need to know about him.
How any player will want anything to do with Ward after this is beyond me.

I didn't say he wasn't. You really need to just read what I wrote, take a pause and read it again.
I understand your frustration. I really do. It gets easier, once you accept that Mr Rodgers and FSG don't have the best interests of the club as their priorities you just wait for the next car crash. Which will be Coutinho leaving by the way. He'll get picked up by Madrid or Barca I reckon and we'll spunk the 50 million on buying Southampton.

As my quote clearly shows.
This just shows you for the troll that you are. And that's a fact.

What part of me is a troll? The edits show themselves on the posts. Any edit I'd made was immediate and before your post. Accusing me of being a troll shows you to be a child. You don't like my opinion, I get it. Unfortunately for you my opinion is increasingly looking more accurate.
As I have repeatedly said It's not your opinion opinion I dislike, it's your posting style. You edited your post after I had quoted and commented. You could have just pointed out that you had made a mistake and that you had subsequently edited. But you didn't as you were eager to have an argument.
Accusing me of being a troll shows you to be a knob.

Yes, it seems to be for everyone but you. Everyone edits their posts, part quotes other people's comments etc. I've edited my post before where I've changed my mind or phrased things better after thinking about it... why create a fight over nothing just because someone else does so?
I'd be careful, it's beginning to look like you want a fight when nobody else cares two jots about it.

Well if you want to concentrate on my so called posting style, yes. Suppose you have to disagree with something now it's no longer about my actual opinion.
I disagreed with one of your comments - quoted it and made a reply. After my reply and quote you edited your original post and made comments about my post so as to discredit it.
That's not cricket. Neither is posting your assertions as facts.
I'll try and ignore your inane ramblings in future but as there isn't an "ignore" feature on the board it's quite difficult. So crack on.

I agree about looking for a fight, however RT was trying to say he was wrong and not reading the post right, when he had read it correctly as shown by the quote. That said, it was an overreaction.Everyone edits their posts, part quotes other people's comments etc. I've edited my post before where I've changed my mind or phrased things better after thinking about it... why create a fight over nothing just because someone else does so?

After 57 games this year #LFC have had 188 corners from which we've only scored 5. (1 being an OG) Thats a goal every 37.6 corners
Goal scoring crisis solved, just get 600 corners a game. http://www.scienceofsocceronline.com/2010/12/corne...
I haven't looked into it much, but I remember somewhere else someone had mentioned 3% or so of corners get a goal. Obviously there is a lot of variables (how many touches after the corner is taken counts in the goal count etc). But it's a surprisingly low amount for all clubs when looking at stats:
"So, how difficult is it to score by a corner kick? These results suggest that it is quite difficult although this depends, in part, on how a goal from a corner kick is defined. The range is anywhere from 1 goal for every 36 to 70 corners attempted. Or, slightly less than 2% of corner kicks result in a goal. However, the same might be said for other goal scoring opportunities."

Mart - have you actually read his posts following my quote? Or is this just another example of the persecution of RedTrident, previously known as Raja?Everyone edits their posts, part quotes other people's comments etc. I've edited my post before where I've changed my mind or phrased things better after thinking about it... why create a fight over nothing just because someone else does so?

His edit completely changed the post that I replied to. This was not acknowledged in his argumentative and patronising replies to me.
So if you are going to have a go at me, at least make an effort to understand the context of this latest contretemps.

Last post on the subject now. Jusat move on for the sake of the thread and don't comment anymore. You've spoiled what has been a decent discussion by your seeming intent to have a go at RT regardless.

Goal scoring crisis solved, just get 600 corners a game. IMHO, we spend like a 5th place team, we shouldn't be surprised that's where we're likley to end up most years. Until something changes that spending pattern this is where we'll be.
And although Rodgers does grate occasionally I don't see any other manager coming in and making a lot of difference to that fundemental.

Well it's a great way to force the clubs hand, Sterling leaves for a big pay day and the agent makes a fortune.
Dont agree - its a way to get the clubs back up and say fk YOU- see those kids over there same age as you on £500 per week - go play with them for 2 years That is less than £2m per year. Given some of the money we've wasted recently not such a big amount.
I'd love for us to make him sit on a bench - in 12 months time with no first team match time, who will want him ?
I realise we'd lose out on some transfer fee but it's not as if he's done much to enhance it, even before these comments today.
His agent is a naive idiot.
So now the club cancelled the meeting, the agent will spruik him round to everyone and he'll be gone by end of July.
They're not going to leave a prize asset to sit in the reserves depreciation regardless of how romantic the notion of sticking it to the little turds agent is.

No, but they won't sell to a rival for less when they're only paying him 35k a week (very little in the overall scheme of things). If it's a foreign club they may sell relatively cheaply, but not to a EPL club.So now the club cancelled the meeting, the agent will spruik him round to everyone and he'll be gone by end of July.

anyone else think FSG may sell if FFP goes out of the window?
maybe - but cant see anyone buying till Stadium is done One of the main reasons they bought LFC is becasue they believed they could eventually make them compete due to the FFP... the new ruling will make a MASSIVE difference to teams getting in the top 4- in reality now the top4 should always be CHELSEA,CITY,UTD,ARSENAL just based on revenue - although the BT deal should mean our transfer budget should be at least 50m every year if not more.
