@TonyBarretTimes: Rodgers: "If the owners want me to go I go but I still feel I have a lot to offer here."
Unfortunately that translates to: "I'm staying until I'm paid off."I feel your pain lads, we had similar just over a year ago with Moyes.
Ps. I almost feel sorry for you but then remember the love & support you offered us at that depressing time so ha, ha and ha again!
BR reminds me of this:
I was on the fence until recently, but I think he has to go. Whenever there was a big game, they didn't turn up.
I think Can has potential to be a beast, but he's a midfielder, not a defender; another player being played out of position.
Also, Rodgers isn't the only one who has to go; Ayre has been promoted miles beyond his ability; he is clueless, but doesn't rock the boat, which is what FSG want.

Pretty awful afternoon & finish to the season. I think it's easy to be blaming the manager(although he has to shoulder a lot of the blame) we have to look at the club from the top down, it's not a pretty sight at the moment. All the elements have come together to make us look in really bad shape...
We need a big sort out from commercials, contracts, transfers & various other areas that lead up to us fielding a team. Make no mistake, this transfer window is critical now, miss & we are going to disappear to mid table very quickly.

I rarely visit these parts anymore after being had for airing my views.
But Rodgers has to go, clueless, tactically inept.
A very well restrained post young man, well done! But Rodgers has to go, clueless, tactically inept.
Since day 1 Rodgers was the wrong man, he was made to look better by a combination of things, but still made key decisions wrong and his man management & tactics were questioned even when we were going well.
Im sick of hearing 'we showed great character'
Im sick of looking at the squad list and thinking 'what a waste'
Rodgers cannot be trusted to take the club forward, and the transfer committe malarky has to be ended, its going to be hard enough as it is to get a top manager in without them, and nigh on impossible with them.
Last thing
Goodbye Stevie G, Leader, Legend.
When you start playing players out of position you know the manager is running out of ideas. Many of these players deficiencies were masked by the magician that was Suarez. Take him out and you can see what they really are - average. Add to that some poor buys & this is what we are left with.
But even that doesn't excuse today, 6-1 to Stoke, fking Stoke! I'm not sure how those players can even contemplate taking a "well earned" holiday after that
Disgraceful

I've defended Rodgers a few times. The players on the pitch really need to take some responsibility, however, I would agree it is worrying that they can put in a performance like that. Motivation, desire, pride - would all seem to be missing when you get a result like that.
Whatever happens, it certainly won't be a boring summer!! But if we don't sign two top class strikers next season will be just as tough!
