It's just unwatchable, I tried but it's like watching an under 15 Sunday game with n real bite or competition
I wanted to like it.
Ivory Coast are ranked 63rd in the world; Germany are expected to win it.I wanted to like it.
No different to playing San Marino in a way. No surprise it finished 10:0, the Germans didn't have to break a sweat.

Tuned in to see bits and pieces of it, and have been pleasantly surprised. It's quite entertaining!
I'm so conditioned to seeing players falling over and standing off against each other, that it's a bit weird to watch this where none of that happens.
Their fitness levels and passing are above what I was expecting to be honest. Although the standard of goalkeeping and defence has been pretty comical.

Given the number of debutantes this world cup (and the massive disceprancy in funding between the men's and women's gane) it's not surprising there are a few weaker teams. It will be the same at the euros in 2016.
What is refreshing is the lack of diving, theatrics, abusing the ref etc. They still seem to be genuinely enjoying themselves.
Plus the standard is nowhere near as bad as people make out.

I agree with your first two paragraphs, currently watching France/England and can only disagree with your third. It's ste. What is refreshing is the lack of diving, theatrics, abusing the ref etc. They still seem to be genuinely enjoying themselves.
