Apparently if you commit a foul with no chance of getting the ball its a red card under this year's rules. If that's the case I don't have a problem....as long as that's reflected throughout the season!
I assume that is only tackles with your feet, or else all those tug backs on shirts at half way line to break down a counter attack (cynical with no chance of getting the ball) will also be red?

Don't know but a tug of the shirt or arm wrapped around the player has the same effect as what Xhaka did at the weekend it should be a red. It surely can't be relevant whether it's a players boot or arm which is responsible!

Two quality goals so far, have the feeling they have a goal in them though, so not all plain sailing.

We should be at least 5-0 up by now, poor finishing as usual, every game i watch like this one reminds me as soon as we come up against a decent team we'll get ripped to shreds. Poor defensive positioning, gung ho running forwards all the usual stuff thats caused us problems, since god knows how long.

Guessing none of you have time to post with all of these goals going in...
Enjoy the moment as it's not often you score 6 goals

Enjoyed that, good confidence builder. Really didn't think they were a 0-6 team by their first half performance.

Didn't see the game live but you have to love a 6-0 regardless of who you are playing. Our mobile/interchangeable "Front 4" are looking good!

Another few winnable games before things get interesting in November.

Let's hope we've still got Ozil (and Sanchez) this time next year....

Well I totally got it wrong about Walcott, he's on fire for Arsenal at the moment and hope I've not spoke too soon but we look better at the back than we have done for some time.

I wouldn't get too carried away; he's much better but he's far from deadly.

I like a lot of fans would have been happy to see Walcott go in the summer...would have been gutted if he was playing like this for someone else. I wonder what his motivation was over the summer

a) genuine desire to prove himself (which he's barely ever shown before)
b) not making the England squad
c) Apparently the only team interested in him were West Ham....with all due respect to West Ham he's had Chelsea et al after him in the past.

Whatever the case....long may it continue!

You didnt watch the first half then ??? They had several good chances due to us being all over the place as per usual.

On a more positive note Ozil, Walnutt and Sanchez were all st hot last night, best attacking display, especially second half, ive seen from us in a long time.

So.......hands up those who think we'd go after Sergio Aguero if the rumours are true that Pep isn't a fan and is looking to replace him with Dortmunds Aubameyang.

With Neymar, Messi and Saurez at Barc, I can't see going there if he leaves City, and with Muller and Lewandowski at Bayen, probably no space there, likewise at Real......so, where would he go?

PSG I suppose.....

As for PL, Chelski could afford him obviously, and Manure (that would be interesting if he did an opposite of Dennis Law and swapped blue for red!)

Just wishfully drooling at the thought of a Ozil, Sanchez & Aguero trio bounce

I know it won't happen......

I imagine, Chelski, PSG or maybe Juve. Possibly a swap for Aubameyang? Not sure if Dortmund would be able to afford Aguero's wages though. Tbh, I can't see you guys getting him. Not completely out of the question, just unlikely.

Quite the thought....

Stranger things have happened that's for sure.

Ronaldo is 31? he will continue to gag a lot of goals at the highest level for at least another 4 years... he looks after himself a lot more than someone like Rooney ...
I wouldnt worry about him...
I imagine Aguero and him could play together quite easily

Front 3 of

Ronaldo Augero Bale
