Walcott doesn't even play for the England team (regularly) anymore yet you guys persist with him. He simply isn't good enough. Doesn't have a killer instinct.

nice doesn't win.

Walcott v Diego Costa perfectly sums up Arsenal V Chelsea at the moment.

But Mourinho would leave United to manage Arsenal? Or Ancelotti leave Bayern?

i think JM would love to succeed where AW convincingly failed .... hes about No1 remember and doesn't do long term, what makes you think he will be at MUFC for more than 4 seasons? ... as for ancelotti in a nutshell, absolutely yes, hes got a few scores to settle in the EPL and the novelty of being a big fish in a league of 1 will wear off.

either way AW will appoint his successor and theres no way hes going to choose a guy that will hit the ground running and make him look like the donkey he is. failing to appoint klopp in my view reinforces that.

I agree you with that neither of those managers would leave their respective clubs to manage Arsenal, but I do believe if either were available that they'd consider managing Arsenal. In that regard I agree with bobo that they are different to Zidane and Klopp, who I don't think would manage Arsenal for various reasons.

Yep......when the time does come, this will be what will happen, and we'll have to go through the 'chosen one' pain that Manure went through for a couple of years before we may end up with someone that is capable of doing the job that we are all hoping for.

Any unemployed manager would consider Arsenal. The probably is, will there be any proven quality managers unattached when a vacancy presents itself at Arsenal? If not, then you are going to have to persuade them to leave their current club. I can't see any of the current managers in Manchester, Munich, Liverpool or Madrid quitting to take over at Arsenal, can you? Neither can I think of a currently unattached manager of proven quality. Although I'd love to see Pardew get the gig hehe

You don't think Klopp would leave Liverpool? Maybe not for Arsenal yes. But I think he'd jump before the risk of being pushed.

Why would Klopp leave Liverpool , The fans love him & so do the media.

That Arsenal fan TV lot are doing you're team more harm than good with the constant abuse Mr Wenger is getting , great fun for the rest of us though.

We quickly gave him a 7 year contract less than a year into the job and we've just agreed to build a £50m training facility at his request. Klopp isn't going anywhere for a while!

Make up your mind - either the abuse is 'great fun' or it's not.

At his request ? really......

(of course not).

And Kloppo just like any other coach is dependant on the quality of the players first and by far foremost.....

Players that make the difference on a weekly basis.

I would have taken Ronald McDonald if he was available after the Bayern battering.

The media can change their love affair with Klopp overnight. And Liverpool fans will give him time, as yes they do like him, but they are an expectant lot. They demand improvement, to be in with a chance of glory at least. Last year he had a couple of great cup runs to keep them onside. All that's left this year is the inevitable derby win and a chase for top 4. Is that really enough? Maybe for a few days taking the piss out of Everton fans but I don't think it will be enough.

If January was a mere blip in their season then he'll be alright. But if there's a long term down turn in performance, the team and the fans will turn against him, as they do everywhere.

Its interesting that any fan thinks a manager is locked in by a long contract. These are easily broken by teams with big money behind them. I think Klopp will appeal to the likes of the big Spanish clubs with his style, and if he's not getting the quality player brought in at Liverpool then he might be tempted away with a dream job offer, if the best you've got is Thursday night football next season.

I guess it depends a lot on how well the next 8-10 matches goes. Win the majority of them and the fans will remain on side, as will the media. But I think Man U will be Top 4 at the end of the season, along with Chelsea and City, so Liverpool need Arsenal and Tottenham to implode. Good odds that Arsenal will. And Spurs always manage to finish below Arsenal, somehow. But that's what's needed for a Liverpool top4 finish. And if they miss that then I think

Do I want Klopp to leave the PL? No. He's entertaining.

As you said previously though, he's not going to leave Liverpool for Arsenal. So it's all moot.
