The difference in expectations is stark - Tottenham have such a good season they reward their manager with their biggest contract ever, finish 3rd. Arsenal have one of their worst seasons in ages, constant talk of their manager getting sacked, finish 2nd.

We have a board who are divided, supporters who are divided, a manager who is deluded and a team with no backbone.

However, in spite of all of this and incredibly we've managed to again from above Spurs a team I hate to admit I think are currently better than us and yet they STILL can't finish above us! biggrin

Some Spurs fan said that on 606 tonight and he was comprehensively taken apart by Savage. You've seen your team implode and to cap it all Savage takes you apart as well. biggrin

If this season was a lost opportunity for us spuds, it was an even bigger lost opportunity for you...

Really, for such a big club, such joy at once again finishing above your close neighbours, a small club by comparison

Enjoy your champagne, enjoy the open top bus parade, and well done on achieving fk all tbh...

laugh

Just got home from the Emirates.....had to laugh at that ringing around the stadium in much gusto, as the Newcastle scores came through each time biggrin

And what a way to finish for Arteta.....he was chocked to tears at the end, bless him.

This. Arsenal really missed an open goal this season.
Never mind, I'm sure AW will get it right one day...

What you seem to fail to grasp is we all know this was bigger opportunity for us. What amuses us is that the self proclaimed biggest club in London despite having the best team (according to your lot) have ended up finishing behind us again. Behind an Arsenal FC which is frankly a car crash of a club with no unity, direction, leadership or fight. biggrin
