What a waste of hard disk space that article is.
It makes me sick to my stomach knowing that dithering antiquated old f*cktard will be at the helm for another season.
I'd settle for a relegation battle if it meant we could have change.
I feel sorry for the fans paying the rip off prices to keep the gravy train in motion, but not those who are thick enough not to realise they are being mugged off.

I can only see that ending up in a fk up on the scale of Franny Jeffers. He may have been good for Leicester but i seriously dont think he's good enough for us. No european expeience and far too old for Wenger unless he was getting him for £2.50 and a pack of cheesy puffs
What are you talking about? How can you seriously suggest a player with his attributes who has also just won the title not be good enough for us? He's hungry, he's got pace, he's fearless, has great movement and can score 20 goals a season.
I couldn't care less about his age or the fact he's not come from a sexy club or has a fancy foreign name. He'd fit in perfectly and that's what matters.
What a disservice comparing him to Jeffers.
It does seem an odd fit / not someone I'd have expected to be an Arsene buy. Good workrate & pace, has a good finish but at the same time £25m & 30 next year. His 1 excellent season coming in a team almost the opposite of Arsenal in terms of style of play. Good luck with that one, chaps.
Wow, can't help but think someone with Vardy's pace would be good on the end of Ozil's passing.
A hugely un Arsenal move but £20mil when you see the numbers being talked about for Lukaku or Morata doesn't sound so bad...although he'll have little sell on value. They won't have done this unless they were sure they could get him after the Suarez fiasco.
Vardy's age should in theory matter less because he's played so little football at the top level. One of the reasons Cesc apparently wasn't signed is because he's played so much football having become a first team regular at 17. Rooney's lost his pace relatively early and look how much football he's played.

The negativity about this player is nonsense. Whether he goes to Arsenal or anyone else, he's an excellent player. I'm not for a minute suggesting he's world class, that would be ridiculous but when you consider some of the players like Benteke, Carroll and Soldado cost £30m plus I think this really puts things in to perspective.
Vardy is underrated and under appreciated. I'd want another striker as well because frankly Giroud is st and Welbeck is going to be out most of next season, however I'd be happy to welcome Vardy to Arsenal.

I agree... Has pace that can utilise some world class assist players that we have in abundance. Good to see and hear Arsenal making moves in the market so early in the summer too. I agree, his counter attack will be useless with our pressing play.Think I am pretty sure that nobody that posts in this thread can really say how/if Vardy would fir into the Arsenal team. The important thing to me is that
a) The club are showing some ambition
b) Vardy asks very different questions to Giroud
Sure teams will be scared of Vardy's pace and site deep but that will create space in midfield and the one thing we have is a midfield that can take advantage of space. Vardy only needs a coupe of yards and there's hardly anyone better in world football than Ozil capable of finding those passes.

I think every team in the premier league would be stronger with the Premier leagues 2nd top scorer from the previous season.
I really cannot see what's not to like in getting a player like Vardy, or do we all just crave to sign mysterious performers that have names that end in " iho ".

I'm not an Arsenal fan but who cares how much is paid for him?
Even the sttest teams in the premier league can pay £20m on a player these days and not have to worry.

In terms of EPL transfer fee inflation £20m today would probably equate to £6m-8m of early 2000s money so it sounds like it's a gamble worth paying. I suppose the other options are players like Higuain, Aubameyang, Robert Lewandowski etc but they are all 60 million+ players and they may not even want a move away from their own clubs.

If his goals get you 4th next year then it will be another successful season
