Looks like Rob Holding could be at the club soon. http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/deal-close-arsena...

i would rather we buy a new big thug up top with quick feet if AW persists with the way the team play. i would be in for Edin Džeko like a shot then onto draxler.
Show real intent and go after BM's Lewandowski or Muller as it's rumoured that Pep can't have any BM players after his move to City, although I'm sure Anchelotti will likely keep hold of both.RacingPete said:
An interesting read from back in 2012... shows how we haven't moved on in 4 years (in fact, it could have been written by Alfahorn)
http://whitehouseaddress.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/my...
But does remember all those "bad" signings Wenger has made through the years
Holy Cra*p Batman, hasn't the penny dropped yet ? AW inherited a world beating side, but has failed on just about every level since then (apart from being a very good accountant).http://whitehouseaddress.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/my...
But does remember all those "bad" signings Wenger has made through the years
If you reckon 2nd place last season was progress (considering the opposition) you are deluded.

His considered one of the best managers in the world by respected players, managers/ex managers and just about anyone who has a basic knowledge of football.
He could of walked into any job in world football in the last ten years and has rejected plenty of offers from top clubs (Real, PSG, Bayern) in that time.
I think you are forgetting that although Leicester finished above us, we still finished above Man city, Man utd and Chelsea.

EFA It took Koeman a couple seasons to suss out how to combat the tippy tappy, pretty little triangles, possession with no end product stuff. Either that or play your most physical side and boss the lightweights off the park. We took a proper tonking off saints last time. There's plenty of other examples including Maureen,Fergie etc etc

There are still players coming to us now based on Wenger (Ozil, Xhaka, Sanchez, Cech etc). So I can take your view from your sofa with a pinch of salt.

That's quite debatable, you only have the 'corporate' public PR blurb to say that (and I don't recall AW being a factor cited by Cech either?) and there have been as many that have left because of him as well. But, the those that are blind to the problems we have will always be blind to those problems....it's why we are where we are

I can see we have problems but getting rid of Wenger is no guarantee of things getting better (see Man U). ALL clubs have problems. Wenger is manager and nothing you say on here will change that.
I dont see why some fans get so wound up about it, whats the point?! Ive got better things to worry about.

why would they come to AFC to just qualify for CL ? They are at a winning club with a winning ethic. be realistic ....

Of course I'm realistic to know they wouldn't want to come to us, but that doesn't stop me at least wanting to see us show intent to try get players like that.
Whats the point of that? Why waste time negotiating for players we are never going to get? Would rather we go for realistic signings.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
