A word was had.

You think he is THAT much better? He missed massive sitters in big games and we are looking to upgrade, not side grade.

So far, yet another transfer period where we're linked with top players, unheard of names; frivolus and unrealistic targets... and we'll start the season with Chupa Akpom upfront.

We used to cultivate good youngsters, and develop them into players with a degree of potential. That said, not many of them have become any more than average Championship players. If Akpom is good enough to do a Rashford for us, then say it and make a statement that we will not be looking for any additional forwards this season.

Iwobi might be given his chance this year?

I would like to say and think that Wenger isn't so naive as to go into the new season without addressing the areas we need however I've been and Arsenal fan for way too long and know better. If he doesn't fix the squad he can expect the atmosphere at the Emirates to be a lot worse than it was last season, the fans will slaughter him.

I see we've managed to shift some more deadwood in Wellington Silva. Also Campbell seems to be on his way out via a loan. I feel bad for Campbell, poor guy puts a shift in every game he plays, much more enthusiasm and commitment to the cause the Theo or Chamberlain. Wenger's man management over the years has been pretty dire.

Our attacking teeth could be quite ferocious with Campbell and Sanchez flanking a strong midfield and good all round goal scorer.

Shame to see him not feature in any way. I would rather see him play than Walnut going by how things have been of late. Still, Walnut might break wind and Wenger will be forced to recall Campbell who'll come back and do a Coquelin.

Klopp had better start working out how to tackle a 4-6-0 formation.

ANd this might be part of the problem. Wengers dislike of agents stops the Club reaching the talent we need.

Players aren’t the only ones who use agents. Clubs frequently employ agents as well to help find buyers and extract top fees for players they want to sell.
The tandem of Kia Joorabchian and Giuliano Bertolucci are notable examples of agents who work on behalf of clubs. They helped Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur sell Ramires and Paulinho, respectively, to Chinese teams last year. Manchester United also used agents to help sell Robin van Persie and Nani to Fenerbahce.
It’s worth noting, though, that Joorabchian and Bertolucci are also Ramires’ and Paulinho’s agents, and Manchester United hired Van Persie’s agent for the Fenerbahce deal.
