I personally believe the only way to be a manager is to spend the club’s money as if it were your own because if you don’t do that you’re susceptible to too many mistakes,’.
‘You make big decisions and I believe you have to act like it’s your own money, like you’re the owner of the club and you can identify completely with the club.
‘Because if you don’t do that I think you cannot go far.’

Mustafi very close to joining apparently.
Every year I'm surprised by how slow we are in the transfer market and I don't know why. One thing I admired about Fergie was that most of the time he got his transfer business done early and players had pre season together. I don't agree with the summer transfer window being open when the competitive season is just starting.

On a different note, are any of you lot off to see the Arsenal Legends game? I'm looking forward to it, although being sat in row 97 I may need binoculars

I was supposed to, my tickets turned up Tuesday. I'd completely forgotten about it though and hadn't booked the flights which have now gone up in price so it's looking increasingly unlikely. Gutted as fk, was looking forward to seeing Bergkamp and Henry pulling the shirt back on!
That's a shame. It would have been your only chance to see a decent striker in an Arsenal shirt....NordicCrankShaft said:

We're world class at making money and milking the fans for every penny. Frankly, I now consider it stealing from the supporters. We're totally st at just about everything else.
Until the French tw*t and his cronies f*ck off and the cash cow with it and they give us back our club I'm no longer an AFC fan. Shrewsbury town for me,my local lets get back to the football. I'm really sorry it's come to this, they are/were my club. Up to the rest of you I suppose I don't like to be taken for a mug.
