Griezmann was the one i hoped we'd get after his performances in the euros. Reports this morning that Wenger was in for him but he didnt want to leave Spain, for that read Wenger offered £2.50 and a box of cheesy puffs hehe
I think it's very likely he didn't and probably doesn't want to leave Spain, he's more Spanish than French now having lived there since age 13/14.

There was a brilliant piece about Cazorla on MOTD a few years ago looking at how two footed he was. Lineker and Hansen Both said they'd "never seen anyone as two footed" according to them the knee bend is normally the tell tale.

So......rumour is that Wilshere might go out on loan, if a deal can be done before the deadline.

If he can go somewhere where he can get minutes on the pitch and can be recalled/only a loan until Xmas I think it makes all the sense in the world.

I remember Wenger saying he thought it would take two years for him to get back to top form after so many long term injuries at a young age.

Which is also why Big Sam (unlike Woy) hasn't picked him for the England squad.
The remarkable stat I've seen this morning, is that considering how long he's been an Arsenal player, Wilshere has only ever started 80 first team matches for us.....!

i'm not surprised he's going out on loan. With the system we play and the squad we have I actually struggle to see if he even has a future with us to be honest. I rate Jack and I'd love him to be involved but I wouldn't be surprised if he got a permanent move somewhere next summer.

Serge Gnabry gone to Werder Bremen on a permanent move.

Really disappointed with this one as I always thought he looked like one of our most talented younger players. Had a cracker of an Olympic Tournament aswell.

I really wish the old man was as ruthless with Walcot and chamberlain as he's has been with Gnabry, Chambers and Chamberlain.

If Gnabry didn't show any desire to fight for a place I don't blame him for wanting away, and to be fair, if he saw that the manager was clearly favouring Iwobi, Jeff, Walcot and AOC, what chance did the kid have with Ramsey and Sanchez also as options to play in that line behind the CF?

He was injured for the entire season two years ago, went out on loan to WBA last season which didn't go at all well (attitude left a lot to be desired apparently) and was terminated early. Feels like he's done well at The Olympics and with his contract down to a year he's gone. Shame as he looked very promising a couple of years ago. Still....we have The Jeff!

When you look at some of the money spent yesterday and over the rest of the summer two things come to mind

a) Rob Holding on performances so far looks like the bargain of the summer

b) Perez at £17mil doesn't look so bad. This is the big,big chance of his career and he looks to have a bit of mongrel in him which is no bad thing given the existing squad seemed to lack that.

Me too. The press need to leave him alone although he needs to buck up his off the pitch antics as well.

I don't have much of an issue with him winding Totnum up from time to time though hehe
