Me too. The press need to leave him alone although he needs to buck up his off the pitch antics as well.

I was hoping he'd go a bit further away to aid the latter. Shame the club blocked the Roma loan, I think a year abroad would have been better for him tbh.

Going to the legends game on the weekend and just read that Henry and Bergkamp have pulled out. Henry, although disappointing, I can understand in a way with his new Belgium commitments, but seriously gutted about Bergkamp not being there!! Anyone else going to this

I think it's out of order for players top pull out. You buy tickets based on who you want to see. Even if it meant a 15 minute cameo, I think they should still play if they're not injured.

Absolutely. I am coming from Cardiff to see them play and both these players have been at the forefront of the advertising campaigns for this, particularly Henry who is on the very front of the advertising poster. Seeing those two on the same pitch again was one of the primary reason for going!!

This an article on one of the main Liverpool websites. As for the tryer thing, my posting of the link was the first time the subject has been broached so your repeating of my comment doesn't make any sense, as it hadn't been an ongoing argument like the other situation.

I only posted it in here because I know most Arsenal fans think Wenger is a daft these days too.

Assuming this is true I'm delighted the player and Klopp rebuffed the offer.

Sturridge has an awful attitude, is a selfish player and fitness is an issue. We don't need any more injury prone players and we don't need a sulk in the dressing room.

I think he's been a bit unfairly represented recently and definitely the media are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill with regards to problems between him and Klopp. For me Sturridge's only issue is his injury record.
