I wanted Klopp, Mouinho, Guardiola. I'm sure you all the same. But they are gone. So. its tough. Who is next to replace Wenger? Tony Adams fked up.
Just out of interest - seeing how so many of you are so vocal about Wenger's transfer policy - I wanted to get your thoughts on how you think Klopp is doing with LFC with regards to transfers. On the LFC thread there has been a LOT of talk about how Klopp still hasn't brought in a replacement for Mignolet or Moreno and that the defensive side of our game is still our weakness. Given that we had these problems last season it seemed odd to a lot of fans that our main signing this summer was £30m Mane.
I can't help but feel if Klopp had come to Arsenal, you guys would still have the same transfer frustrations.

Last year as per usual we went out of every competition in February, we finished second whilst our main competitors were going through changes with manager problems, the time was ripe to win the PL again but no. So when the season starts again with Pep at City, Mourinho at United, Conte at Chelsea there was a good chance that with their signings they would improve dramatically but Arsene knows best to wait to you've played two games already to realise your the same mediocre side you were last year and then decide to make some sort of new signings.
It's not rocket science and Wenger is not thick so I stand by that he is payed vast sums of money to get Arsenal in the CL on minimum outlay!

Liverpool fans should know that as well as anyone given the some of the expensive comings and goings over the last ten years. Or if you want a more recent expanple look at how Spurs fans got massively excited about the seven player they bought to replace Bale....only two of whom are still at the club.
Played pretty poorly from what I saw and heard on the radio commentary...still a win when you are playing badly is always welcome and we've had more penalties this season than we had in the whole of last season! Xhaka, Giroud and Snachez rested presumably with PSG in mind. Mustafi looked pretty decent...Perez less so but strikers from overseas always seem to take a while to adapt.
Wenger's been quoted as saying Wilshere will sign a new contract by December and it was interesting to see Eddie Howe say that the fitness tests showed that's he's not ready for 90 mins yet. If you think this is four months after he made his latest "comeback" it just shows how far long it takes to get back....what the fk he was doing in the England squad for the Europeans then we'll never know.

Watched the Old Firm highlights.
Senderos, still as ste as ever
We've struggled nowhere more than Central Defence with bringing through youth players...in fact I can't think of one that has gone on to become a regular first team player...actually striker is equally bad thinking about it!Senderos, still as ste as ever

What is it with this obsession with playing Sanchez as a centre forward? Meaning there is zero presence up front as he's always dropping deep or wide. It's not like it has even remotely worked in any game so far this season. Meanwhile Giroud and Perez are sat on the bench... Genuinely mistified

We set up intending to counter attack I think...It's says a lot about the system that Coquelin is the midfield man bursting forward!!
