Fantastic news. Kozzer too apparently. All we need now are Ozil and Sanchez to put pen to paper!

Pretty ineffective going forward or even holding it in midfield, shapes all wrong, having to carry Giroud who offers little... Lucky to be going in at half time 1-1...

I only see the second half and thought it was the best game of football I'd seen for a while, PSG were better than us and deserved the draw, Sanchez was playing well, Ramsey seems like he's had a dip in form, I thought AOC should of been on from the start rather than the last 10 minutes.

I went to the match.

Apart from 10 mins in the early 2nd half we were shocking.....first half performance was woeful.

Still scratching my head at the initial team selection tbh.

Like last year when Cazorla and Coq got injured and we only had Ramsey and Flamini fit we have a dysfunctional central midfield....we're a very different team without Cazorla. Bellerin is a big miss too.

Wenger really needs to find out what our best Central Midfield is. We were pretty poor against a good team last night but we've not got turned over in any of the last three games whilst not playing well which is a good sign.

Find it hard to be critical of Sanchez personally....busts a gut every second he's on the pitch and is capable of the exceptional.

Indeed.......he is human, and will have the odd crap game, but they are astonishingly few and far between.....which we should be grateful for.

His forward pass up to Ozil (who back heeled the ball) was lovely. Just bent around the defence. Incredible player.

Agree about missing Santi. Wenger needs to find a replacement or get Xhaka/someone up to that level of passing and thinking.

Well we were definitely terrible last night without Santi, Sanchez or Ozil. Piss poor performance! Very nearly went...so glad I didn't given how badly we played and how cold it was last night.

Looks like we put out a second string team against a 1st XI. Not that I'm making excuses.

I was there and it was quite possibly the worst performance i have ever seen from the Arsenal. I know it was minus a number of first team players but those out there can all hang their heads in shame - especially Ramsey and Coquelin who just look like they have no idea or understanding how to play with each other.

And yet again it looked like 11 players with no real idea what they were supposed to be up to and that comes back to AW who appeared to make no attempt to change to a Plan B. Again.

Says it all when Southampton fans were giving it the "ole" with more than 10 minutes to go when they were passing the ball around.

We got what we deserved last night.

It was hardly 1st XI vs reserves. Southampton had 8 changes, Arsenal had 10. Difference is saints kept their usual rear guard and Ramsey etc had no idea how to get through. Hopefully Southampton go on to win it now.
