PSG got Barca so i think we ended up with maybe just the lesser of two evils. Not watched any Bayern games this season though.

I suppose from my point of view (Chelsea) it would suit us if you stayed in for as long as poss, knackering yourselves in the process, picking up some key injuries (nothing too serious, just enough to keep key players out at important times) before crashing out on pens in the semi.

We're a much better team this year and have a "puncher's chance" (and need a lot of luck) of going a long way...I'd rather we found out straight away if we're any good against the level of team that BM are rather than beating a lesser team and taking on one of the big boys in the next round. CL fixtures take a lot out of the team and would rather not waist that energy!

Keep dreaming. Next fixtures aren't until February, we'll be 10 points clear by then!

Sums it up well, something to look forward to win or lose.

Well that was disappointing. A very flat performance tonight. Not enough one touch passing - Too tentative and there seems a lack in confidence which is odd when you look at recent performances. Big game against city on the weekend now!

Well fingers crossed you'll be 6 points behind after tonight. (now I've said that, watch us lose at Sunderland!)

A seriously messy game, Everton kicked the st out of Arsenal and got away with it.

Walcott should have come off sooner as he was barely in the game.

I only had the game on in the background while doing some xmas shopping, and I was genuinely surprised to see Theo going off he was that quiet!

Such a shame that for all his brilliance so far this season, Ozil's effort at "defending" the winner was so pathetic..

Less good result last night....Everton were woeful for the first 30 mins. We only played with intent once we went a goal down....didn't deserve to win that was for sure.

We've not kept a clean sheet for something like 12 games and have been scoring a very high % of our chances....something had to give.

According to the Mirror (so it must be true laugh) we've offered Sanchez a £9.3m a year deal to stay at the Emirates but we're still significantly short of meeting his wage demand......!!

And according to The Sun, so again, must be true laugh Pellegrini's new club in China, Hebei China Fortune are prepared to offer a Sanchez a £500,000-a-week deal.

I see Oscar is going to China in Jan, and is reputed to be on a £400k per week AFTER tax deal, with rumour that Fabregas might follow him there on a similar deal.....

Crazy money.....!!

For that sort of coin, I'd be quite prepared to be as miserable as possible for a couple of years laugh

Biggest problem is if they decide to not honour the contract after six months....Drogba went out there for what was then a massive £200k a week which I think only last six months. You have no fking hope as a foreigner of suing a Chinese company.

No, it would be a lot longer.

London - Santiago (assuming that's where he goes?) is about 7250 miles.

Shanghai - Santiago is about 11750 miles!!
