The only justification for that would be if Arsenal had paid off the ref to throw the game in their favour, and then the ref gave the pen to Burnley (correctly) when having been bribed by Arsenal, he shouldn't have done. So Wenger thought Arsenal had been cheated out of their money by the ref by not throwing the game like he was paid to?Either that of Wenger's an idiot. Which is probably more likely.

Media speculation today is that FA will give AW a lengthy touchline AND stadium ban for his red mist moment.
So they should he pushed the 4th official the idiot. Nothing different to what Di'canio did years ago and got 11 game ban - only diff is the ref didnt fake a fall The list of his fines/issues is ridiculous, they need to make an example of him now to other players/refs

Sssssh, someone might bring up Klopp's history with officials! Though, to be fair to Klopp, we've seen hardly anything of that since he joined us.
Not seen anything here apart from him talkign to the 4th officials, nothing wrong with a bit of passion but AW takes it too far.....If Klopp did the same id expect a ban to come his way..You cant ask players to show refs respect then their manage who more often than not is 30 years older is doing st like that....
AW needs to start taking it out on water bottles instead! Oh...

why dont they make it more like rugby regarding the respect given, ie if a ref calls a player to him, the player's come. In football it seems that a ref will call a player to him then in most instances the players will take 2 steps towards then walk away, meaning the ref chases after said player

often though that myself. So many of the rules could be brought across, yardage gain or free kicks more often for hassling a ref etc etcmylesmcd said:

Just a totally different mindset isn't it. Rugby is by no means perfect but the situation surrounding referees is much better.Played on Saturday. Ref said before the game "If you mouth off at me I will penalise you. Any questions come through your captain, and if you approach me with your captain with a question I will happily speak to you. Anything other than that you're risking an early bath. Are we clear?"
I often wonder what you have to say to get sent off for foul and abusive language in football, based upon the lip reading that I have done when watching
