As for the Sanchez bust-up, who knows what it was about? He'll be gone in the summer though either way I reckon.
Will he though? im struggling to see where he could go that wouldn't be a step down.

He's not good enough for Real, Barca, Bayern or city, you'll never sell him to Chelsea if he thinks Arsenal aren't competitive then China is out too Italy couldn't afford him. Everywhere else is a step down.... he doesn't exactly have an abundance of options.
PSG would be my guess

PSG? They specialise in buying players not-quite-good enough for Barca et all. They have Cavani but after that nobody who's as good as Sanchez.

Going to fact check you on that mate. Teams in Italy could afford him. Inter have just had massive investment after a take over and Juve have deep pockets.

As for not being good enough for Real Barca City or bayern? - be serious, he is one of the best in the PL on current form.

They just battered Barca 4-0 and are beginning to be regulars in the last 8/4 of the ECL. Their trajectory is the opposite of Arsenal's imho.

Okay maybe but its a 4th rate league, for someone as competitive as Sanchez would he really want that? not a step up from Arse and the prem for me.

Well he isn't, that's why arse got him in the first place.

League winners regularly and starting to look like a proper force in Europe...i'd say that's a significant step up.

Its a one team league of course they are regular winners, although this year it looks like they will mess that up, imagine the hissy fit if he were there.

I'd say winning the league in one of the 5 big leagues and being regularly in the last 4/8 in the CL is a step up from Arsenal finishing 4th and getting knocked out in the last 16.

Id disagree I don't see Ligue 1 and PSG as a step up from Arse and the prem. Pedantry aside you're proving my point, not exactly an abundance of options for him is there?

Talk about blinkered..... eek

Given he's already played for one of those for 3 years....

While I think it's unlikely he'll go to Real, I could see him at Bayen......as Robben is almost mid-30's and had a few injury issues, so I could see them looking to the future and at a player like Alexis.
He's played in Italy already, he was Udinese for a while, so Juve could be possible, but that might depend on whether Allegri stays perhaps..?

I think everything hinges on whether AW stays or goes.

Yes he did, was sub most of the time and was deemed not good enough, hence Arsenal got him.

I agree with most of this. Other than Real and Barca who I don't think would want him and City, Utd, LFC, Spurs and Chelsea who I doubt Arsenal would sell to, I think he could play for any other team in Europe. Bayern, BVB, PSG, Atletico, Sevilla, Napoli, Juve...

I don't think he'll be at Arsenal regardless of whether AW stays or goes. From the rumours he's not getting on with half the team so I imagine he would like a fresh start somewhere else.

Reports are saying that he had a bit of a tantrum laugh

I'd say playing for PSG is a step up from any English team bar Chelsea & the goons aren't going to sell him to them.

This summer both Sanchez and Ozil will have one year left on their contracts. I imagine Arsenal will sell to the highest bidder regardless rather than lose either of them on a free a year later.

It's unbelievable how they seem to get into these situations time and time again with their star players. Best case scenario they'll get two-thirds value for them.

He's good enough for all of those clubs. And if they sold Van Pursie to Man U, why not Sanchez to Chelsea. If the offer is right the Ar5e board won't give two hoots. They aren't interested in winning the league anyway, just maximising revenue. They'd sell him to Spurs if the offer was right.

rofl

Still scored 39 goals in 88 appearances for Barca, which is comparable with us (46 goals from 90 appearances)

He was deemed surplus to requirements when they bought Bitey Suarez, and in terms of goals scored they were probably right, given Bitey has banged in 76 goals for his identical 88 Barca appearances.

Okay then. We will see which of Bayern Real and Barca he moves to in the summer then. Fancy putting your money where your ROFL's are? smile
