I think "not good enough for" and "unlikely to move to" are two entirely separate things with regards to Sanchez and possible moves to Real, Barca or Bayern this summer!

Will he though? im struggling to see where he could go that wouldn't be a step down.
Talk about blinkered..... eek

Given he's already played for one of those for 3 years....

While I think it's unlikely he'll go to Real, I could see him at Bayen......as Robben is almost mid-30's and had a few injury issues, so I could see them looking to the future and at a player like Alexis.
He's played in Italy already, he was Udinese for a while, so Juve could be possible, but that might depend on whether Allegri stays perhaps..?

I think everything hinges on whether AW stays or goes.
Blinkered? im a spurs fan laugh

Yes he did, was sub most of the time and was deemed not good enough, hence Arsenal got him.
rofl

Still scored 39 goals in 88 appearances for Barca, which is comparable with us (46 goals from 90 appearances)

He was deemed surplus to requirements when they bought Bitey Suarez, and in terms of goals scored they were probably right, given Bitey has banged in 76 goals for his identical 88 Barca appearances.
Okay then. We will see which of Bayern Real and Barca he moves to in the summer then. Fancy putting your money where your ROFL's are? smile
My rofl was that you'd made that original comment being a Spurs fan, not at the 'other teams' bit.
I think, he's more likely to go back to Italy (if AW stays) or go to PSG (but not sure he'd fit in a team with Di Maria as well?)

I'm hoping he'll decide to stay with the change in manager at the Emirates wink
I won't be holding my breath though.

I'd take Sanchez at United. I can see that happening.

Sanchez would improve ANY team in the PL he was signed by, simple.

Like I said elsewhere on here Sanchez is a good player but is a prima donna, whether he stays or not is immaterial unless Arsenal bought 4 or 5 decent players this summer and he stayed also otherwise just offering him loads of money and him staying in this current team just means it's more of the same.
It's down to the fans not to buy season tickets or go and watch them and then finally the manager and the money grabbing board might begin to realise the supporters won't be mugged off anymore.

Many years ago I saw an interview with the then Liverpool chairman, John Moores?? Probably pre premier league, maybe in the 80s. Anyway, he said something that really struck me. He said "we must never forget our raison d'etre, the reason we exist. We exist to win trophies, and in doing so, be a source of pride to our fans and our community." He then went on to say that the club could only achieve that by being financially viable but the aim wasn't to make money. It was to win trophies.

I get the feeling the board at Arsenal have a somewhat different raison d'etre.

There are only 2 clubs whose priority is to win trophies. Every other club is a business, so their priorities are not to get relegated and to make as much money as possible.

Must say chaps.

This implosion at the emirates couldnt come at a better time for us Lincoln fans.

Thanks for the 9000 tickets (although no praise for the insistence we couldnt have them on general sale!!)

Im sure your place will be banging this weekend. And thats just our drums.

I see Chelsea's victory last night took them one ahead of us now in the list of most Premier League London derby wins frown

I would think that is the least of our worries currently. Another reaming tonight could do untold damage ongoing. To be honest i'd be quite pleased if we even managed a 0-0.
