What a stupid decision by Wenger to 'rest' Cech for such an important match.

Shocking again, a team that has never won in England and scored only 3 goals in 12 matches sets up to defend scores 3 against us. Meanwhile the D team of the group who beat us last time lose by 5. Shocking doesn't quite cover it.

Can only be down to one person - the manager. He's clearly not sending them out in the right frame of mind and with any plan adapted to the game in front of them. Also doesn't help that we didn't strengthen the team during the summer. Again.

We've been suffering this same st for >10 years now and the last two FA Cup victories have been no more than papering over the obvious cracks. That is obvious to everyone apart from Arsene.

Arsene's need to treat everyone fairly is costing us results - for example Ospina in goal... why? In a must win game, put in your best keeper!!

Losing that game was a real possibility, Wenger had said so several times before in the build up "Bayern's scoreline flattered them in the game against them" and "The Greek league is easy and they could rest players for the game" (paraphrased statements)

But what is clear is that there lacks a leader on the pitch to control the team - shown against Monaco last year by giving a goal away at home in a suicide attempt to win the first leg... and last night when Arsenal scored a second, where was the leadership on the pitch to say - right we are back in this, let's shore up defence for 5 and get the winner.

The latter point, though is Wenger's fault for not putting that player there, the team needs to take collectively responsibility for being tactically ignorant to let them come straight back and score.

I've supported Wenger immensely over the years and I have genuine respect for what he's done for Arsenal off the field but as time goes on and the more I see us play I'm starting to wonder if he's capable of maging Arsenal anymore, I don't think he has what it takes to take us to the next level, he's comfortable and he's lost his desire to compete.

The excuses we've had before were valid, the stadium build and the financial implications of it also but we don't have those anymore, next year years marks 10th anniverssary of the opening of the Emirates. A project that was supposed to give us the power to compete financially with the biggest clubs not just in England but in Europe abd it has we have close to 200m in the bank as cash reserves and we're looking on good financial shape for the future. But what is the point of all this if we constantly fail to compete on the field? We have the poorest record out of the top four against the other big teams and we fail to excite in Europe these day's like we used to.

So what do we do about it? We're in a hugely vicious circle and the board are just as much to blame as the manager is for letting this happen, for letting Wenger become untouchable in his position.

We lack leadership on the pitch and have done for a long time, we're known by other fans as perenial bottlers and when the going gets tough we very rarely ever get stuck in and pull ourselves out of a situation, the team is just too soft aside from 2 players(Coquelin and Koscielny).

The managers transfer strategy is even more bizarre, season after season we have needed players for certain position's pretty much every season since Vieira and Henry left, every man and his dog can see what we've needed and for years we've always been 2-3 players short of a title winning side with the manager citing the excuse that he will only buy players of super quality which to an extent has been correct (Ozil, Alexis and Cech) otherwise he's pretty much passed on what we've actually needed.

His tactics are also very very niave, playing players out of position and a whole load of other stuff I don't feel I need to go into as it's so blatantly obvious.

How long until the Big players like Alexis and Ozil decide enough is enough and want to leave!

Look at our squad, we nearly have a world class squad we really should be winning and at the very least competing for the very top tropies in world football however the only thing we have to show is a prestigious few FA Cups.

I would love nothing more than Wenger to lead us to a Champions League or a title but I just don't think he has it in him anymore! He used to be way before his time in the early days but now football and everyone else has caught up with him and he's failed to adapt with it!

One last point, the club is obviously commercially driven and after recently reading a few bits about our finances from Swiss Ramble we are behind 8 other clubs in Europe for our commercial deals, what better way to negotiaite better commercial revenue than to actually try and win the bigger trophies. Winning title and CL finals is not only prestigous for the team but hugely financially beneficial!

I've taken a lot of stick on here for my extremely strong views on Wenger. I've said for a very long time he should not be Manager of Arsenal.

Whilst he is manager we will continue to have games like Leicester away where we'll be immense, then a performance and result like last night is always around the corner. That will continue to happen whilst he is in charge.

We make the same mistakes season in, season out. We continue to suffer horrendously with injuries, we have no plan B, we continually fail to strengthen in the areas where we need it most. This has been the same for years, absolutely years.

I'm sorry, I've shown Wenger respect for what he did in the first 10 years of his time at Arsenal. However, he's arrogant, stubborn and contemptuous towards the fans. Fans that pay the highest prices in the country.

He isn't going to get the sack because he's too powerful. He isn't going to resign because he's too arrogant and stubborn. The only way I can see we can get him out is force him out , that's going to be personal and quite unpleasant and tragic but we need to get our club back. This team is stagnant and isn't going to move forward while Wenger is at the club. I don't want him moved upstairs or any of that bks I want him out pure and simple.

I think you must have watched a different Leicester game to me. Against a decent team we would have lost that one as well and likely to a cricket score.

I live in Leicester . The locals tell me differently.

They had an amazing 15-20 mins after that it was different game.

We may have scored lots of goals but midfield and defence we were all over the place as usual, i watched the full 90 min replay on Saturday evening. I dont live in Leicester BTW wink if thats of any relevance... We werent "immense" in any stretch of the imagination.

If Leicester fans who have no vested interest in Arsenal say we outplayed them I think it's very relevant, it's an unbiased opinion. We have a vested interest in Arsenal therefore we're less likely to have an impartial view.
