The thing which annoys me about this who situation is we have spent money on good players, but they just do not perform. Across the pitch the performances were poor today and in the previous 3 or 4 games at least.

Tactically we haven't looked great but the players most of the time look like they missed the meeting anyway, can barely pass or control the ball and panic when they are in possession.

They need a pick me up, can we club together for a cake and some flowers to send over? usually does the trick!

Lovin the level of apathy on here after a 3-0 win,and the half empty ground. I love you goons.
Keep up that level of commitment and we'll be rid of Herr W Dictator in no time. Emptyhad II - the sequel.

Townsends leg was dangled into the keeper. We are catastrophically st so its makes little difference. Had to turn it off before i kicked the telly into next door. frown

Glad to see community spirit is alive and well and we're doing our bit to help a fellow London club avoid relegation.......rolleyes

I've felt for 6 years at least that Wenger needed to go as is widely known in this forum.

Wenger had the perfect opportunity to walk away 3 years ago after the FA cup win against Hull. However, he just couldn't help himself. His egotistical, narcissistic personality got in the way of making the right decision.

3 years on the club and team are in as bad a state as the end of the George Graham years. Any possibility he had to walk away with his legacy and reputation intact has gone.

Wenger now must accept any vitriol, abuse or criticism that comes his way. He has created this situation and now must live with the consequences.

Dire, dire performance. But as expected from a weak team, even though a more or less full strength line up.

I can see why the penalty was given, it's always going to be given in that situation but Townsend put his leg against the 'keeper to get it.

As a Chelsea fan, I won't pretend your current plight isn't a source of much glee. But as a football fan, I'm sad for Ozil. As part of that German under 12s team that dismantled England in the 2010 WC, he looked like a fantastic young player. Watching him tonight, it's hard to believe he's a pro footballer. He looked like a fan who'd won a competition to play. Shocking.

The proof of how far you lot have fallen can be found in the fact that Walcott is captain. I wonder what McLintock, Admas and Viera think of that. They'd be spinning in their graves if they weren't still alive!

I'm sure he'll be more than happy living with the consequences of yet another 2 years as manager.......

At least we won't have to worry about going out of the CL at the first knockout stage next year whistle

So, who would you guys replace Wenger with?
I might have a wild bet on a certain ex Leicester manager
( Leicester fan by the way )
