Sanchez faffs around with the ball too much in danger areas. A few times now he's lost it and given opportunities to Bayern.

Major fk up by Neuer. Giroud didn't have a clue about that!

I would disagree. I think Giroud did well to anticipate Neuer missing it.

I suppose the handball was intentional then?

Quite ironic that just as that goal went in I was reading something along the lines of "Neuer could save the Titanic" on Twitter. One thing is for sure, he can flap like a bird smile

Very unconvincing but a result is a result.

It's rather shocking how poor the finishing is by some Arsenal players at getting the ball on target or scoring in an open goal.

Wow, lots of shouting at the tv tonight biggrin my neighbours must have wondered what the hell was going on! Poor display but great result, sitting back against Bayern is bloody suicidal but we got away with it for once. Cech, Bellerin, Monreal and Kosielny all immense.

Just back from the game. Lot less possession than usual at home. Dug deep and a great win, I have to say there really was a great atmosphere tonight better than usual. Cech was top quality.
The Wenger out brigade will have to put the knives away for a few days.

Those that are soft will be quiet. A poor performance and somewhat fortunate result doesn't change anything.

We were poor in possession, poor tactically, we had no game plan (again) and frankly we really got away with it. Frankly that was men against boys and the boys got lucky, very lucky!

Under Wenger we will put together some good results and performances, however an embarrassment and a humiliation is never far away.

It was indeed a great atmosphere last night, one of the best I've been to recently although thought the plastic bags they gave out were a bit naff.

I don't understand comments saying it was a poor performance. We didn't have much possession but we were excellent at the back and limited their chances as much as possible, Cech did come to the rescue a few times but so did Neuer for them. We created plenty of chances, 8 on target I think against Bayern Munich, that's impressive, and better finishing (Theo) would may have got us a goal earlier. Special mention to Bellerin, incredible performance and I fear some of the big European teams will be after him soon.

Me thinks you don't know a team set up to counter attack when you see one.

Or do you think you should have tried to out-possession one of the top three footballing sides in the World?

I had the match on and, whilst not paying great attention to it, when Arsenal started going forward I thought they looked more threatening than Bayern. Bayern's game is possession, Arsenal let them play that and punished them when the opportunities arose, the second goal highlighting that perfectly.

Yup, I agree entirely. I think Arsene set up the team perfectly and the players executed the plan to perfection. A well deserved result for all.

Bore off.

No game plan? What did you watch? It looked very much like he set the side up to do one thing. It was frustrating to watch but provided some great excitement on the counter.

You cannot go against Bayern and out play them with attacking football. They have been unstoppable for a while so to go against them as we normally would would have led to another destruction and you'd be even unhappier...

Anyway, another game won and some more momentum.
